Chapter 20: He's back

POV: First person, Neteyam

"You... my father said he killed you," I shouted.

"If I stayed in the water for too long yes. But I got some help from your family pet," Quaritch chuckled.

"Family pet..," I whispered amongst myself.

"Spider," Y/n finally spoke, "he saved you,"

I was in shock. I frozen for what felt so long.

Spider saved him. Why?! Quaritch is our enemy. Why save him.

I was so lost in my thoughts I forgot that I was still kidnapped.

"You. You're not a water nor forest Na'vi," Quaritch tried to reach to touch Y/n.

I quickly got back to reality and slapped his hand away from her and tried my best to shield her.

"Don't. Touch. Her," I said with a harsh tone and glare.

He chuckled as this, "what a gentleman," he stepped back, "what kind of Na'vi are you," he put his attention back to Y/n.

"I was all alone my life. So I don't know my species or culture," she said with her usual tone.

How can you be so clam?!

"And you how are you alive. I saw your lifeless body, while your cute family cried," he looked at me.

"That is none of your concern," I shot back taking a step forward, still having Y/n behind me.

"Hmm..," Quaritch hummed to himself, "welp you two lovebirds are staying here until Jake Sully comes to get you," he smirked.

"Oh and don't worry we can turn off the lights and cameras. Haha so the two of you can have some good privacy," he said as he walked out the door.

Y/n and I cringed at this. She turned around, sat down and sighed. I sat with her.

"You okay," I asked as I put my hand on her thigh.

"Yes I'm good," she turned to me and glare, "you Skxawng, I told you to go. But you don't listen," she roughly slapped my hand away from her thigh.

"Ah hey, that hurts," I hissed lowly.

I looked down and scratch my head. She signed again, "You're so stubborn," she laughed along.

"You know I am," I smiled at her, "how can you be so calm at a situation like this,"

"That goes the same for you too," she got closer to me and grinned.

"Well for me, it because you're here. Your voice and straight face tells me, it will be alright,"

"Well for me. If your braids keep dancing dramatically, we'll be fine... if they keep dancing," she joked.

I laughed, "oh really," I smirked at her with a loving look.

"Yup,"

Haha I'm literally so happy at a situation like this huh?

"There are cameras that can see and hear us," she looked at the cameras and turned back to me, whispering, "and l've got an escape plan,"

Now this I got closer. She began to fill me up with a plan.

"I can feel our surroundings, we're at the forest," she said while closing her eyes.

"Hmm," I looked at her and scooted closer to get a better look on her.

She suddenly opened her eyes. I froze in shock.

"I- um sorry," I whispered with a shy grin and went back a bit. She only gave her straight face and lifted her hand.

She stroke my hair and then my ear. This made me purr and wag my tail. She did it for quite a while. It felt relaxing, but soon enough I breathe heavily due to how much I keep purring. My purring had grew louder by the minute. So did my tail moved even faster.

"Ha... Y/n.. I- uh it- it's getting too much," I gulped , "Gahh... Y/n! S-stop that...," I whispered. As much as I wanted this, I wanted more privacy as well.

She let go of my ear, "it so red now," she giggled softly.

"Haa... Y/n you're such a tease," I said catching breath.

"I know," she lied down on the cold floor.
