POV: First person, Y/n

"Tsahík Ronal," I finally spoke, "May I go for a walk," I ask, turning my head to look at her.

Her eyes grew wide but soon became relaxed, "Good to see you are speaking now. A walk would be good for you, take it," she nodded.

I nodded and headed out, seeing the sunset hit my face. The sunlight warmed my skin, reminding me the feeling of Neteyam's warmth. I miss him, terribly.

But I'm too scared to see him now... afraid that he would vanish, like a lucid dream. I'm afraid that all this is a dream.

I walked the pathway slowly. I've been resting for a while, so my legs felt a little jelly.

As I walk pass by other people, they stared at me. I guess I've forgotten that Neteyam had created some drama, by calling my name when I was going to leave.

Then again, should I actually leave? His mother hasn't came to see me. Has she change her mind? But does she think of me differently now? Will she allow me to stay but not allow me to be near Neteyam?

Thoughts drowned me as I walked to the sandbar, dumping into someone. It was Tsireya and Kiri.

"Y/n?" Kiri spoke.

"Y/n? Oh why are you walking around? Mother said you should be resting," she tried to push me back to my home.

"Ah- Tsireya, I've got permission from your mother, she said it would so some good for me," I explained.

"Ooh," she smiled, "may we join you," she turned to Kiri.

"Sure," I nodded, "I don't mind the company," I continued to walk to the sand bar. Kiri on my right, Tsireya on my left.

Kiri put her arms behind her back, looking directly at me, "what," I raised a brow.

She smirked and turned to look back where we were walking to, "Neteyam has been worried. He even begged to the Tsahík, after being away from you for a day," she giggled.

"Really," I smirked.

"That's right. I've heard Neytiri and Jake scold him for doing so," Tsireya added.

I hummed, shook my head and sighed, "there's just too much going on,"

We walked along the sandbar in pure silence. I inhaled the fresh air, it felt pleasant.

"When will the elders go on the mission," I asked them, turning around, walking backwards.

"Until the other clans are helped," Tsireya replied. I hummed and nodded.

"Hey Y/n," Kiri called me out.

"Yeah,"

"Ronal said that you were awfully quiet, what's wrong," her question made me turn back to walked in front.

"It's nothing, really,"

"No it's not. If Neteyam hears about you being incredibly quiet, he will worry for you more," Tsireya shook her head.

"Oh okay," I admitted, "I was very quiet because... of a dream, it seem so real,"

"How real," Kiri questioned.

"I was on earth, with a human body... and that odd skin," I shivered, "people were going to touch me- to help me in someway... I really don't know but, I'm scared now. What if all this is a dream? What if I'm just a human living in this dream? I love it here. I don't want to leave this place," I explained.

Tsireya and Kiri both shook their heads, "this isn't a dream, Y/n. This is your home. You are real. We are real, okay? You have nothing to worry about," Kiri took my hands to comfort me.

I shook head forcefully, "but what if I wake up and I'll never be back here or never dream of this again,"

"You won't Y/n," Tsireya smiled, "whatever you were dreaming, it wasn't real,"

(I'm delusional🥲)
