POV: First person, Neteyam
I walked along the pathway in hopes to see if Y/n was okay. Yet when I walked past by it as I usually do, my eyes did not catch her, she wasn't in her mauri.
I stopped and went inside to see nobody there. I saw her belongings still here, so that means she is still here. My breathing became uneasy.
I ran out, in search of her, deciding to go to Ronal. She would know where Y/n went.
I came into their home with the Oel ngati kameie gesture, "Ronal Tsahík," I nodded.
"Why are you here," she then seem to know what happened, "Y/n went on a walk, I told her it would be good for her,"
"Oh," I was surprised, "uh thank you," I smiled and left.
"She's walking along the sand bar, you'll find her there," Ronal yelled.
"Got it," I thanked her again and ran to find Y/n.

At first, I couldn't find anybody. I sighed, "How come she didn't ask me to join her," I asked myself, continuing to look around.
Was Ronal lying to me, 'cause she doesn't like me? Cause I can't find Y/n.
"Y/n," I called for her name, "Where are you," turning my head left to right, roughly. I felt my braids hitting my face a little too hard.
"Ow," I whispered and hissed at myself.
"Y/n," I called again.

POV: First person, Y/n
My ears perked up, hearing a familiar voice, "Neteyam," I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Y/nnn," I heard again, this time I knew it was Neteyam.
"Oh it's brother," Kiri smirked and took Tsireya, "have fun,"
"What? Why are you guys leaving," I asked, still walking with them.
But Tsireya stopped me, "you two need to catch up," she giggled, "go on,"
"Y/n," Neteyam screeched. The girls had already left, so I decided to hide because... I haven't seen him in a while.
I hide behind some big leaves, hoping that my purple skin doesn't give me off. He walk by and stopped to look around.
I heard him click his tongue, scratching his head, sighing, "Was Ronal lying to me? That woman probably doesn't like me," he talked to himself.
I silently giggled, but Neteyam's ears were too good, "My gem? Is that you hiding in the bushes? What are you doing there" He caught me and walked forward with a playful smirk.
I gasped and quickly climbed onto the nearest tree, "Catch me if you can, my mighty warrior," I giggled.
"Wha- hey! Why are you so active today? It would be best if you were resting," Neteyam scolded me, climbing the same tree.
I was already on top of branches, Neteyam was too late to spot me anymore, "My gem? Where did you go now" he sighed again.
When he wasn't looking, I swing down, with one arm and both legs hanging on a thick branch. Tapping his shoulder, he turned around, and he laughed, "You look better," his eyes grew, "Oh- well you always look good," he stuttered.
I chuckled and gave him an unexpected kiss, swinging back up on the branch. I couched to look at him, "it's lovely to see you again...,"
"It is for me as well," he held his hand to his chest and smiled, "You're not going to leave, are you," his eyes begin to worry.
I just smiled at him, "I'm still thinking about," I sat down on the branch.
His ears droop, "M- my mother is already thinking about apologizing to you. You can stay, Y/n," he climbed the same branch, sitting beside me.
"I know... but I still feel like it's safer if I leave," I continue to smile, furrowing my eyebrows, "I've gone so weak. I feel like I'll hold people back. And I'm causing to much chaos right now," I bring my head down.
"You're not weak. Do you hear me? You're not weak at all. I want you with me but I don't want you in the battlefield," he took my chin, so I can look at him.
I stayed silent, giving him a genuine smile, "Come here," he wrapped his arm around my shoulder, his other hand holding mine, "You are one of the greatest gifts for me. I'm not going to give you away," he smirked.
(I'm in my flop era sorry🫠 but I'll still be writing)
