POV: First person, Neteyam

"Morning mother," I stepped into the Va'ru.

"Neteyamur... I thought you were with your siblings," My mother look at me with a smile, "oh is that...," she looked past me.

I turned to my gem, and raised a brow, "what are you doing? Get inside, you're allowed to come in," I waved my arm at her.

"Oh," Y/n blinked nervously, "sorry," She stepped in.

I grabbed a vegetable wrap, "here eat it," I handed it to her. But she refused the offer.

"But I'm not hungry," she was about to take it, "but I'll save it for later,"

"No," I quickly move it away from her grasp, with a smirk on my face, "you'll eat it now," I unwrapped the leaves, "eat,"

"Wha-," I shoved it in her mouth, "Mghmp-," her eyes widened at the sudden movement. I heard my mother giggle.

"Thanks... I guess," Y/n said between munching food, "but I'm not hun-,"

"Eat it," I shoved more in her mouth.

"You're acting like your grandmother, Neteyam," Mother cover her mouth as she laughed, "let her eat on her own,"

"Yes but without Grandmother watching her, she won't take care of herself," I turned to my mother.

Y/n gawked, "Are you serious, Neteyam?" Her harsh voice shook me, "I had to WATCH you when we were hiding. I took care of you," she pointed at me while chewing on her breakfast.

"Yeah well... that's because we were in a very serious situation," I tried to cover myself, I smiled crookedly, turning to her.

"Oh you're right," something sparked in her, "I should arrange an important meeting with the chief and your father. Thanks for the breakfast," she ran and waved at us.

"Wait! Y/n," I ran after her.

(I don't know why I switch this conversation oddly)

"What do you mean by important meetings," I asked as I caught up to her.

She stopped walking, turning in my direction, "Neteyam, the sky people are still out there... we should finish them off, so there will be no more harm... only happiness,"

I sighed, "did you have to bring them up? We were having a fun time... I don't want any more violence," I ran my fingers through my hair.

"And yet if we continue to stand here... the sky people will come here with better-advanced machinery... if we are wanting happiness... then we must fight for it. To obtain it," she placed a hand on my chest, "go watch your siblings, Neteyam... this should be discussed with the elders," she tries pushing me away, with her hand.

I stopped her, holding her hands, on my chest, "We are merrily the same age, what makes you think you can discuss this with them?"

She continued to look at me, "go watch your siblings," she walked away.

"Why... are you always like this? Making me happy and then shutting me down," I whispered among myself. I watched her leave.

"Neteyam...," my mother came after and place a comforting hand on my shoulder, "I should go too... I want to know what's going on. Y/n's right, go... watch your siblings,"

I sighed again, "Yes, mother," I walked to my siblings.

I arrived to see my siblings and friends sitting on the rock, where we usually meet up to talk about anything. Once they saw me, they immediately saw the discomfort on my face.

"What's wrong, bro," Lo'ak furrow his eyebrows, "something about Y/n," he brought me down to sit next to him.

"Yeah... but a part of it has something to do with the sky people," I dared not to make eye contact with anyone.

"Tell us, brother," Kiri looks at me with worry, eager to hear what's going on.

"Well Y/n suddenly ran off to discuss matters with the chief and dad...," I said.

"Matters of what with father," Aonung spoke, worried too.

"When Y/n and I were captured. Quaritch was there, alive. With him alive... war hasn't ended," I looked at him.

"Quaritch... that motherfucker?! I thought dad killed him," Lo'ak shouted with pure anger.

"Lo'ak! Tuk is here," Kiri scolded him.

"That madman?" Rotxo raised a brow, "how is he still alive? Did someone save him," he asked.

I sighed, "it was Spider,"
