Chapter 91: Take a swim after seggs

(I took chapter 90 down cuz it was making me uncomfortable)

POV: First person, Y/n

Neteyam and I both fell asleep due to the exhaustion of... you know. He snuggled deep into my chest, purring as I stroke his hair.

"How should I tell my parents about this," he mumbled under me, "I hope my mother will apologize to you... everyone likes you, it's just my mom is protective... maybe because I've died once already," he hugged me tighter.

I hummed, "Yeah... but I understand her, she's trying to protect her family. She's trying to protect you," I rested my chin over his head.

"I know," I felt his warm breath against my skin as he sighed, "You're so warm,"

"I think that's just the sun on you, Neteyam," I chuckled and so did he.

I inhaled the fresh sea salt air, "We should get going now. Your family will ask where you are,"

"I know," he nodded but didn't move. I started to get up, but he pulled me back down, and I yelped.

"We have lots of time, Y/n. Stay with me for a bit, you will? Or forever, yes?" He smirked, "We're bonded now, you're stuck with me," he chuckled again and kissed me.

I smiled, "Yes I am," I kissed his forehead, staring into his bright yellow eyes.

I finally was able to convince Neteyam to get up. I burst into laughter, as I saw marks and hickeys all over him, "oh no. Oh shit. How do I go out walking like this," his face flushed.

"Hey," I giggled, "it just shows people that you're taken," I looked up and down at him.

His face turned even redder, "My gem what did you do to me,"

"Me?! You enjoyed that, I know you did,"

"Well- yeah- I did but-," he groaned, "what will my parents say," he brought his hands to his head.

"What you will expect, of course," I chuckled again. He stopped his gibberish and smiled at me.

He laughed too, "well they'll know who I got it from, so...,"

"I wonder what will Lo'ak say," I asked myself, walking back to the village.

His pupils widened, "oh no... you know he's been asking if we mated yet," he giggled and followed. He decided to have more before we reach back, lightly grabbing my tail.

I yelped, "H-hey," I laughed and ran ahead of him, making my tail swing. While he tried to catch it again.

He laughed, "why are you running, we should have more fun," he reached to me and placed a hand on my wrist, bringing himself in front of me, "I'll miss you when we part our ways,"

I clicked my tongue, "Don't think that," I ruffled his hair, "it's just that the tsahìk has been keeping an eye on me for so long, that she'll scold me if I'm gone for too long,"

He furrowed his eyebrows, "so you care what Ronal thinks and not mine," he pressed his lips together, making a pouty face.

I sighed and shook my head, "so then what else you want to do,"

"Anything you want, as long as it's with you," he grinned with his teeth.

"Well I am still feeling good after-,"

"So it felt good," He asked, smirking.

"Ah- yes it did... we should go for a ride,"

"A ride on-,"

"What did Tsaheylu do to you? If you're like that all the time, then we will have to stop," I went to the shore.

"Okay okay, sorry. I guess I got a little carried away," he put his head beside me.

I raised my hand to the sky, stretching my sore body. I turned to my mate, "you're good," I laughed, "honestly it's cute when you begged. Never seen that much of a side of you,"

Neteyam's face flushed, yet he said nothing. Thinking that if he said more, he would just embarrassed himself more.

"Come on let's swim," I waved to him to join me. He smiled and nodded.

We quickly walked to deeper water. I got goosebumps from the cold salty water.

"Are you sure you want to swim? We just did...," Neteyam voice trailed away.

"It's fine. I think I'm fine," I laughed, "just come on, swim with me," I went underwater.

He sighed, yet smiled, and went after me.
