Chapter 45: All I want is to be with you

POV: First person, Neteyam

"Don't cry I'm going to be..," Y/n stopped, shutting her eyes.

"Y/n- Y/n no no no... you were okay No- no- please wake up- please please Dad," I shouted as I cradle Y/n. Hugging her close as my tear drop on her beautiful face.

"Jake," my grandmother called him, checking Y/n's pulse.

Norm and dad came out of the the tube, witnessing me cradling Y/n with more tears showing.

"Did she faint," Norm asked checking my love.

"Yes, but before that she was coughing," Grandmother answered.

"She's okay, but it looks like she needs more rest...," Norm said and took Y/n out of my arms. I was left empty. I sat there on the ground, looking at my hands.

Was it my fault? We- we were going some very private stuff- was it the cause of that? It's my fault right? It has to be.. I should've just... said you are okay and get dad but.. instead I had to do something that just makes thing even worse for her...

I placed my hands on my face, crying loudly. Not caring if people saw me.

I just want Y/n in my arms, as we laugh and talk about anything. Fishing, hunting, paint our nails, stargazing and more, all I want now so to be with her, here in the forest...

"Hey, Neteyam," My dad rubbed my back for comfort in from of me, "it's going to be okay. She's going to be okay,"

I just hugged my father, crying on his shoulder, "it's all my fault.. all my fault," I cried and cried right there. My dad and I didn't even move, we just sat there as I finished my last tears.

I felt tired and couldn't move at all. I felt my father carry to the tents to sleep. But I had a right time, sleeping.

How did I get use to sleeping with Y/n in two days? Gosh I'm so in love with her, that sleeping is a difficulty without her.

I decided to just close my eyes, hearing the sound of chatter outside. Evenly I was able to sleep, only think about joyful moments...

The next day, I woke up, without the sun gazing upon me. I guess I woke up really early. Not everyone was awake, some guarding the entrance of the cave.

I decided to take a walk again, not knowing what's up on ahead or what's behind. That's when I overheard someone's conversation.

I heard my father sigh in front of Spider. Dad was passing himself, thinking about yesterday. I remember telling dad that Quaritch was save my Spider.

"If you ever encounter this same situation again, don't make the same mistake... the human Quaritch was your father. Not the recom. Their only mission is to end me," Dad explained to Spider.

Spider looked extremely ashamed as he should. He looks down at the floor, fluttering his eyes. Trying not to cry.

You're just going to let him off the hook like that father? Quaritch is alive because of him...

Dad you may treat him as a son... but I can't treat him like a brother for what he has done was cruel to me... I just know.. that Mother would be more furious than me.
