A/N: Hey there baves, bavies, and city hunters, because I love you so much and I'm so grateful that you never missed a chap of this story, I'm giving you this special guide which highlights Mek-Mek's whimsical escapade year after year. Here we go:
📍2007 - 2008: 7th grade, the first time Mek-Mek and Ken Ken met. Seatmate sila.
📍2008 - 2009: 8th grade, nasa cream section pa rin si Mek-Mek. 'Di na niya kaklase si Ken. While Mek-Mek immersed herself into her studies, Ken focused on extra-curriculars such as joining the campus dance troupe, and other clubs.
📍2009 - 2010: 9th grade, Mek became one of the campus journalists and won several awards and competitions on national levels. That's when she realized that she wanted to be a writer.
📍2010 - 2011: Mek's in 10th grade (fourth year high school). She graduated as the class salutatorian.
📍2011:
This is when she got her first love letter.
After graduating highschool, sinagot na ni Mek si Ken, and their 2-year kilig-to-the-bones relationship started.
Nakakuha si Mek ng scholarship sa isa sa mga prestihiyosong pamantasan sa bansa.
Mek-Mek and Ara met in college as classmates which started their fabulous friendship.
📍2012:
Mek worked as a part-time sales lady sa tindahan ng mga class A na sapatos sa palengke para matustusan ang iba pang expenses sa pag-aaral niya.
Ito ang taon na makulay na makulay pa rin ang relasyon nila ni Ken.
And yes, ito rin ang taon na matatag pa ang pananampalataya niya sa soulmate theories at destiny thoughts, kung kailan niya nakilala ang mga paborito niyang writers na sina Madam Mara at Alma Young sa mga libro ng mga ito. She never met them in persons though. No. Not yet.
📍2013:
Mek-Mek's 1st and 2nd time sa Lovers' Maze. She's with Ken. This is also when she met the mysterious guy in a hoodie.
Aki met Mystery Mica, and Ken finally found Mary.
Mek-Mek and Ken Ken broke up. On that same night, Mek got super drunk at CNBar.
Mystery Mica (MM) went missing.
Mek's most broken year. She stopped reading romantic books and believing in soulmates habang nagmo-move on sa kanyang epic fail na love story.
📍2014:
Mek-Mek met Aki in a bookstore when Aki was looking for Mystery Mica.
Aki's car accident, ang dahilan ng kanyang amnesia.
📍2015:
Finally, graduate na si Mek sa college at nagsimula na rin ang kanyang dramatic job hunting moments.
She then met Mark noong nag-apply siya sa Zhyx Media at noong 'di siya nakapasa sa exam.
Aki and Mek met again after ng lunch date nila ni Mark.
Mek's first real job at FATE commenced.
Mek's third time in Lovers' Maze, when Aki wore that familiar hoodie.
She met her favorite writer, Madam Mara Moral thru Aki.
Mek won a condo unit from FATE Co. 😎
