"HEY, YOU! KID!" the reporter exclaimed, almost knocking izuku and i with the force that she exerted when shoving the foam-covered microphone in our faces. "can you tell us what it's like to work so closely with all might?"

izuku stumbled back, eyes wide. "uh i'm sorry..."

"we... have to... um..." i stumbled, my eyes flickering to him for some guidance in coming up with a flimsy lie on the stop.

"nurse's office!" izuku blurted out, taking my hand and hastily scrambling past the barrier. "we... have to go!"

the reporter's eyes widened, quickly lurching forward before her arm was caught in by a long strip of white fabric. aizawa sighed, sipping a coffee as he released the capture scarf and let it flow back around his neck.

"a teacher!" she gasped, scrambling forward and pressing her palms together, bowing her head in a begging manner.  "please, sir... can you get all might for us?"

"all might's not on campus today, now get out of here. you've disturbed my students enough already." aizawa deadpanned.

her expression immediately diminished, voice rising to a distinguished whine as the underground hero walked off and waved his hand dismissively. he crossed the barrier of UA's main campus entrance, the dim like under the frame clicking a viridian green as it registered aizawa's identity.

the man beside her heaved a sigh and lowered the camera from his shoulder, eyes still locked on the hero. "i feel like i've seen that guy somewhere before... but where?"

"i don't know." the reporter replied, fists clenching as she gritted her teeth. "who does he think he is, telling me all might isn't here?! if he won't bring 'em out, i'll—"

"no, hold on!"

the cameraman shouted and reached out to grasp her arm before she shoved him off and made her way to step over the gaze. almost immediately, she gets thrown back and shoved to her knees the smooth stone floor underneath the frame of the gate moves up and covers the entrance entirely, similar walls appear all around the campus.

crimson lights shine and flicker all along the barrier of smooth stone, solid and intimidating, causing the group of media to reel back.

the reporter let out a shriek, scrambling back and pressing her palms over her ears as the alarms blared.

"don't you know about the school's defenses?" the cameraman said, staring down at her incredulously. "this gate is the U.A. barrier!"
