"alright, that's it for class today." aizawa sighs, walking out, "there's only one week left before your final exams begin. i'm sure you're all studying constantly, right? don't forget to keep training. the written exam is only one element- there's also the practical portion to worry about. good luck."
he slides the classroom door closed.
denki and mina shoot out of their seats, the two in 20th and 21st place for midterm scores, "I'VE BARELY EVEN TAKEN NOTES THIS SEMESTER!"
mina laughs gleefully as denki holds his head in his hands, "and with the sports festival and internship, i didn't have time to read the textbook!"
tokoyami, 14th place, nods. "it's true that we haven't had very much free time lately."
in 12th and 11th place, sato and koda. "we'd barely learned anything when we took our midterms, so they didn't seem all that hard, but i'm kinda worried about these."
koda nods.
"we've been through a lot, and they probably won't pull any punches when it comes to testing us...."
mineta, 9th place, snickers. "as someone ranked in the top ten, i'm not that concerned."
"WHAT?!" denki and mina exclaim, "you're were ninth in the midterms?!"
"aw, man, and here i thought you were one of us!" mina cries, pointing at him accusingly.
denki grumbles, "don't you know weirdo little creeps like you are only are only likable if they're kinda stupid?! WHO'S GOING TO LOVE YOU NOW?!"
mineta chuckles. "everyone. trust me."
"ashido, kaminari! we've still got time to study!" izuku says, ranked 4th in the class, "that way, we'll all get to go to the training camp together, right?"
iida nods vigorously, ranked 2nd, "yes! as class rep, i have high hopes that we'll make UA proud!"
the blue-haired boy looked better, as far as i could see. the dark circles under his eyes had faded, and his enthusiasm was more genuine than forced.
then again, i don't know iida that well, so i can't be sure.
"it's pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class, isn't it?" shoto, 5th place, deadpans.
"WHY'D YOU GOTTA CUT ME DOWN LIKE THAT?!"
momo smile sparkles, 1st place, "hey, don't worry about it, you two! i can catch you up to speed on the important topics, if you want."
