📍CLASSROOM 1-A
- "E-EVERYONE..." MINA SAYS, tears threatening to spill down her face, "i'm looking forward to hearing- hic- all your stories of how fun camp was..."
she, denki, kirishima, and sato all drown in sadness. izuku gazes at her worriedly, "maybe they'll let you go, don't give up, ashido-"
she sobs, crashing into my shoulder and wrapping her arms around my neck, "don't- hic- give me hope!"
"hey, there might be a last minute twist, or somethin!" izuku says, watching closely as i pet mina's hair with one hand, and rub her back with the other in an attempt to comfort her.
denki sighs shakily, "they said whoever failed the exams would have to skip training camp and live in summer school hell. we didn't pass the practical so we're doomed." he turns around sharply, his voice rising to a shout as he jabs his finger into izuku's eye, "DON'T YOU GET IT, MIDORIYA?! OR DID ALL MIGHT KNOCK ALL THR BRAINS OUT OF YOU?!"
"denki!"
"sorry, sydney..."
mina sniffs, rubbing her nose and apologizing for the wet spot on my shoulder as she steps back.
sero huffs, "ease up, kaminari! i'm not even sure i'll get to go either, our team only passed 'cause of mineta..." he glances at the boy, who smirks at us, "i got knocked out, and since we don't know how the exams are scored, i might've flunked..."
izuku screams, his hands over his eyes, as denki starts screaming again. "AT LEAST BRING US BACK LOTS OF CAMP SOUVENIRS, PLEASE?!"
mina starts sobbing again, crashing back into my arms and sending both of of toppling onto the floor. "ah- mina, do you need to see recovery girl?"
"n-no." she wails, her legs draped over mine as she buried her face in my hair, "i need a gun."
"once the bell rings, you should be in your seats." aizawa snaps, slamming the classroom door open. in a split second, everyone returns to where they sit- mina shaking as she vigorously tries to wipe the mascara off her cheeks.
the classroom goes silent.
aizawa sighs, walking to the stand. "unfortunately, there are a few of you who did not pass your final exams. so when it comes to the training camp in the woods..." he leaves a beat of silent, before he smiles, "everyone is going!"
"IT'S A LAST MINUTE TWIST!"
"we really get to go to camp?!" kirishima exclaims.
