- THE COMMOTION HAD stirred most of our classmates from their focus, sending confused looks in our directions as izuku and all might stared up at me.
i glance back to him over my shoulder. "it's fine. that rock was my fault, anyways."
turning around on my heel, the soles of my shoes scrape against dust-coated cement as aizawa calls everyone to return to their training.
just as scarlet energy began to dance around my fingertips, the double doors leading inside gym gamma slam open. "that's enough, class a. class b is scheduled to use this training room every afternoon."
izuku gasps, "class b?"
the loud protests of our classmates fill and echo through the gym, even aizawa looking bothered by their sudden appearance during our training.
vlad king ignores them. "eraser, get your kids out of our way."
"you're not trying to kick us out early when we have ten whole minutes left, are you?" aizawa says, an eyebrow raised as he crosses his arms. he shares a look with all might, who shrugs in response.
monoma scoffs, whipping back his hair and smirking at us. "hey, did you hear? the license exam has a fifty percent pass rate. that means your entire class might fail!"
i land swiftly on the ground as he laughs hysterically, "that's his hero costume?"
"well since his quirk is copy, he said he didn't need anything too eccentric." kendo says, glancing at monoma with a grimace. "just that."
"unfortunately, his observations are correct." tokoyami says, dark shadow hissing back into his body. "if we're taking the same exam, then we'll crush each other. that's the hand fate has dealt us."
"and why we won't be in the same location. our classes applied to different spots." aizawa deadpans.
monoma falls silent.
"there are two exam days, in july, and in september. the tests are held in three different places. we don't want students from the same place fighting, so we split you up. each school has at most one class at a single location." vlad king says.
monoma lets out a breath of relief, before snapping back over to us and striking another dramatic pose. "how sad we won't be able to face each other directly!"
"man, this guy's nuts." kirishima says.
denki nods, "yeah, i think he's officially gone off the deep end."
"all those other schools... huh, interesting." sero says. "i didn't know that was the case. so, we'll be facing kids from other places..."
"yeah, and on top of that, we'll be taking the test earlier than most other students." izuku sighs. his finger is hooked around his chin, nodding as he takes in the information. izuku looks up at aizawa, a determined look on his face.
