- THE SUN RISES over UA's campus, shining brightly over the newly constructed dorm buildings. my nose scrunched as izuku and i stepped into the courtyard, the fresh smell of flowers and cleaner hitting me. he gazed at the bandages that peaked out from under the sleeves of my uniform apprehensively. i crossed my arms over my stomach.
aizawa nods at us, standing with his hands in his pockets in front of the entrance.
"sydney!" ochaco gasps sharply upon turning the corner, hands balled into fists as she runs up to me and throws her arms around my shoulders in a tight hug. "i'm so glad you're okay!"
i smile, iida letting out an exhale as he walks up behind her. my chin tilts up in greeting as i gaze at him over ochaco's shoulder, to which he nods firmly in response.
it's not long before tsu and hagakure arrive, the two practically jumping on top of me in another bone-crushing hug. the girls then move on to jiro, who had arrived with denki before izuku and i, and capture her in a hug as well.
bakugo walks up, followed by kirishima and sero close behind him. then momo, and shoto who had appeared a long time ago without us noticing.
the rest of our classmates trickle in slowly.
"given everything that has happened, i'm glad we were able to bring the class back together." aizawa says.
sero grins, "so, we all got the go-ahead to move on campus!"
"it took a lot of convincing for my parents..." hagakure sighs.
ojiro gazes at her worriedly. "it makes sense, you got the worst of the gas attack."
"i was pretty concerned about mine." jiro smiles.
"we're glad to see the teachers got to come back, too." tsu says, "i was afraid you wouldn't be allowed. the people at the press conference seemed upset with you guys."
"yeah." ochaco nods.
"i was surprised as well, but circumstances have changed. now then, i'll explain how your dorm assignment will work shortly. first, however, we haven't forgotten about the provisional hero licenses you were supposed to get at the training camp."
"oh, yeah, that's what we were there for!"
"so much has happened, it totally slipped my mind."
