"She's my woman...not your wife" Knox gritted out, wrapping his hand around Margot's waist protectively.

Knox did not know what he was doing but his body acted on his own. Margot clung onto Knox and thought back to how they had ended up in this situation.

It was Monday again and Margot sighed as she blended in her blush.

"Do I really need  a jo....I'm sure my brothers will be more than willing to take care of me for the rest of my life..." Margot muttered.

"Yes...Yes...wealthy spoiled baby sister. I'm on my way to pick you. Please be ready before I arrive" Knox's voice came through Margot's phone on speaker.

Margot giggled "Okay daddy" she said with a chuckle and the line went silent.

"Knox?" she called out and Knox coughed.

"I'm still here Margot...I had to end an incoming call" Knox said, a little flustered.

Margot laughed and moved to loosen her cornrows so she could style her hair.

I'm on hair now...I should be ready before you get here" she told Knox.

"Good good...will call you once I'm there" Knox said

"Okay byeeee" Margot said before ending the call.

Knox took Margot's bags off her as they headed to the office entrance. Before they could step further, an army of me in black suits surrounded them. Knox was confused but Margot had an idea f what was going on.

Troy stepped in front of the pair and Knox's brows furrowed.

He stood in front of Margot protectively.

"What do you want Your Majesty?" Knox asked in a fake polite tone.

"My wife" Troy said, wasting no time in stating his intentions.

"I'm not your wife!" Margot yelled and Troy frowned.

"Margot stop this and let's talk" Troy said calmly.

"She's not having any 'talk' with you" Knox said authoritatively causing a shiver to run through her body.

Troy's frown deepened.

"And who are you to her? You're just a friend..stay in your place let me speak with my WIFE." Troy told Knox, stressing the 'wife' part.

Knox chuckled, snaking his hands around Margot's waist and pulling her dangerously close to him.

"She's my woman...not your wife" Knox gritted out confidently.

"And last I heard, you agreed to denouncing her as your wife, rejecting her and her boys" Knox continued, hitting Troy where it hurt.

Troy grunted and moved to get to Knox.

"I wouldn't if I were....you have an image to protect" Knox said to deter Troy.

He grabbed Margot by the wrist and pulled her towards the office, leaving Troy standing in the cold.

Margot stared at Knox's broad back.

"Thanks" she muttered.

"Don't stress it" Knox ground out still focused on taking them to their floor.

Knox pulled Margot into her office and then pulled her into his arms.

"I'm sorry" he whispered. Margot who was glad he had stepped up for her just giggled.
