"Thank you for coming" Margot told Troy as the man adjusted his coat on the porch.

"Yeah..uhm...I should be the one thanking you. Thank you again. I promise not to let you or the boys down." Troy told her.

Margot shook her head. "This had nothing to do with me. It's all about the boys. You should be proving yourself to them not me" Margot said with a giggle. As light hearted as she made it, the statement still pierced something in Troy.

Troy looked at the woman with longing.

"But I-" He started to say before slowly bringing his lips to a thin line. "Have a good day Margot" Troy finally said before turning to leave.

Margot stared in shock at the man. The man had called her name with an emotion that knocked at something in her.

She shut the door softly and then turned to retire to her room when her vision met two mops of blonde hair.

"Boys?" Margot called out.

"Mummy....is Mr Troy coming again?" Theo asked.

Margot smiled as she moved to pick up Theo.

She cocked her hips to one side to support the boys' weight.

"Yeah...some other time." Margot replied with a sigh.

Matt fiddled with the bath duck in his hands.

"Are you sure mummy? He looked sad when he left? Is Mr Troy sick? Did he not like playing with us?" Matt asked his mother in one breath.

Margot giggled nervously.

"Yes I am sure Matt. I's sure your father loved playing with you. He's just tired after all that dancing okay hun? Come on...bath time" Margot said to her boys, hoping to change the topic.

Matt ran up the stairs screaming 'bathhh timmeee' and Margot giggled as she carried Theo up the stairs.

Troy was all smiles when he returned to his hotel room. John looked at the man astonished. The man kept giggling to himself as he sat at his desk. The man pushed his office chair back and the flexible spine squeaked as it supported the man's weight.

"Ha..ha..ha John. My boys can dance." Troy commented and John just stared at Try with an astonished expression.

John dropped the documents in his hands on Troy's table.

"Ah..your Majesty...you met with your sons?" John asked.

Troy chuckled excitedly.

"Yes...Yes..." Troy beamed and John smiled. He knew the man was still holding some hurt in his heart but seeing him laugh and smile for the first time in a long while warmed his heart.

John could not imagine how the man felt through the years. Recovering himself and finding that what he knew to be as more than half of his life suddenly wasn't.

John could never imagine letting go of the family he had right now. He would not give up his sons for anything in the world. His boys who had now grown into their pre-teen years excelled in the Royal family and he hoped for them to follow their hearts when it came to their careers. He would not force any of them into succeeding as the King's right hand man. He hoped for this job to die with him, not continuing onto any of his family members. He had seen the good, bad and the ugly within the Palace, and he hoped to protect his family from that.

"Know when you're meeting them next Your Majesty?" John asked.

"No..no...not yet. But I'm sure I and Margot would agree on something" Troy replied with a wave of his hand.
