Apologies...

Troy pulled up to the McQuoid property with another large bouquet of flowers in his hands.

He knew he wouldn't be let in so he opened the mailbox and placed the flowers with an envelope. The night before, Troy had decided to approach Margot with letters until she had decided to speak with him.

Troy had wanted to make amends with Margot although it was more of an ego issue for him at present, rather than a real urge to be with his family.

He took one last look at the large lake house before turning to get back into the sleek town car that drove him here.

"What the sugar is this?" Margot exclaimed holding the flowers and envelope in her hands.

Margot opened the envelope.

Dear Margot,

I understand that we have  a lot of bad history between us. I know after everything, it might be hard seeing me now but I hope we can meet to speak about everything.

Hope to speak soon,

Troy

Margot stared at the letter and the flowers. A tiny part of her which wished for her sons to have a relationship with their father melted at the letter, but a larger part of her could not care any less.

Steeling herself, Margot chucked the flowers and letter into the street trash can.

She stalked into Knox's car and sighed as she settled into the passenger's seat.

"You okay" Knox asked, his hands on the steering.

Margot nodded as she buckled herself in. "Yeah..just spam post" she said sighing.

Knox glided the car out of the property and soon the two were neck deep in paperwork.

"Could I please speak to Margot?" Troy pleaded with Hendrix who stood at the door.

"No..please leave. She doesn't want to speak to you." Hendrix ground out sternly.

After Hendrix spoke, a head of blonde curls ran up to him and hugged his leg. Standing on their tippy toes, the tiny human tried to peer at the guest at the door.

"Uncle Hen? Who's that?" Theo asked his uncle curiously.

Troy looked down at the boy in amazement. The boy was a perfect mix of he and Margot, the boy being a carbon copy of his father and having Margot's features to add to his cuteness.

"Heyyy..I'm Troy!" Troy said and Theo shyly retreated to hide behind his Uncle's long legs.

"IT'S YOUUUU!!! THE BAD MAN WHO DOES NOT LOOK BAD!!" A tiny voice yelled. Troy turned to see a boy identical to the first hugging Hendrix's other leg.

Troy stared at the boy bewildered.

'Bad man?' he thought.

"No..I'm not..." Troy started to say before being cut off  by Knox's voice.

"Boooyysssss!!! LUUUNCHHH!!" Knox yelled as he came into view wearing an apron and holding two kiddie bowls.
