Five Years Later....

Matthias Darius Lysander (Bluey with the mole under left eye)

Theodore Demetrius Alexander (Greeny with the mole under right eye)

"Matt...Theo...Don't run" Margot called as she stepped out of the car. The first time the boys experimented the new life skill they had just acquired – running, they had bumped into a few workers holding coffees. This had obviously resulted in a huge mess that Margot had to apologise and PAY for.

The boys were now five and they had their similarities as well as differences. The first names Margot decided on for the boys were Matthias and Theodore. She had replaced Bluey and Greeny with Matthias and Theodore as she loved them as her gifts from God.

Matthias Darius Lysander  and Theodore Demetrius Alexander. Five-year-old bundles of trouble.

Margot had finished her law studies, but she chose not to become a solicitor. Rather, Margot took up a job with the government of Grenlia. Margot through the years had earned her place as one of the leading Legislators of the country. Today, she was busy with approvals. She had decided to work on just clearing her tray of documents which needed her signage of approval. Before Margot could even blend in her BB cream, the boys' school called to say they were both sick. Margot liked that she was able to start work at her own time, with reasonable discretion of course. This gave Margot time to finish the school run before getting ready for work. Margot decided to pick them up on her way to work, planning to put them in the office day care.

Margot examined her sons as they left the school grounds. She concluded they had just eaten something they were allergic to. Tracking what the 'thing' was, was the hardest part of the boys' sick period.

Margot leaned into the car to grab the boys' lunchboxes, coats, and her bags. Margot wore a maroon pencil skirt with black thermal stockings underneath. She tucked in a black sweater and topped off her outfit with a blazer that matched her maroon skirt. It came in a suit set and Margot fell in love with the set the minute her eyes spotted them. She just had to get it in many other colours which she alternated between weeks. The skirt made it harder for Margot to bend over but she finished fishing out all their belongings with sheer determination.

Margot's curls were held up on top her head in a messy bun which still complimented her outfit. Truth was Margot rushed to leave the house after getting told the boys were sick. She finished makeup and then just jumbled up her hair on top of her head the best she could. Margot had done her usual natural style makeup with a bit of blush. She had on simple silver jewellery to match. Margot had on silver butterfly earrings with a necklace with a butterfly shaped diamond pendant to match.

"Mattttttt!!! Theeeoooo!!! Wait Up??!!!" Margot hollered as she started making her way toward the office entrance.

"Sick call again?" A deep voice called out, a deep chuckle following its words. Margot recognised Knox's voice and she turned. Margot smiled when she saw the man.

"Ha Ha..how'd you know??" Margot said smiling at the man.

Knox ran his blue eyes up and down Margot. "Many bags, Paw Patrol lunchboxes, busy looking mum mode...Oh please..." Knox said matter of factly.

Margot laughed. "Yes Knox" she started to say, turning to continue walking towards the office. Knox stretched his hands and took the boys' bags off Margot and Margot smiled up at Knox.

"Thanks Knox" Margot said sweetly.

"EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW" Two familiar voices chorused, and Margot turned to the direction of the voices. Matt and Theo stood staring at their mother and her colleague with stinky faces. Knox and Margot were very good friends, growing close during their internship period at the Grenlia National Civil Service Agency. After their internship, they both chose to work with Legislation coincidentally. Being paired within the same office, the two grew closer over the years.
