~ 7 Days Before Wedding Day~

Margot was sat in bed. She still could not get over the pre-nup event. As Margot dove deeper into her thoughts, the familiar sound of her ringtone snapped her out. Margot slowly filled with happiness at the sound of her ringtone.

Margot was singing when she realised she had to pick the phone up. Margot picked her phone up and glanced at her screen. 'Irving'.

Why was second eldest brother calling me? The last time we talked was when Mama died...years ago. I have not heard from any of my brothers since then.

Margot picked up the call.

M: Hello...

*silence*

M: Hello???

I: Hello Margot. Came a very soft but deep voice.

M: Hello Second Brother. I hope all is well?

I: Ah ... yes all is well. Are...Are you doing okay...in the palace I mean.

M: Yes Brother. I am alright. I hope Brother is faring well also.

*Silence*

I: Yes... Yes Brother is well. I-

*Silence*

Margot was getting tired of this. Could he just say what he wanted??

M: Brother why have you called?

I: This might sound unbelievable Margot but I am worried.

*silence*

Margot was shocked. Why? Why would he be worried about me. She thought. Her brothers had made it exceptionally clear through their actions and very little words that they wanted nothing to do with her.

M: Yes this comes as a surprise brother. Why exactly are you worried for me?

I: Margot- I- I know I have not always been there. None of us have. But please personally- personally I am worried. You are just 19. Getting married to some geezer you barely know.

Margot snickered. Irving heard it through the receiver.

M: Brother. I believe you are more of a geezer than he is.

Irving was pouting now. But he was relieved that they could make some sort of conversation to relieve the awkwardness.

I: Yes. Yes. I am way older than he is but you are still my little sister Margot. Barely over the 18 year mark. I am worried and shall give you a wedding gift.'

Margot was sceptical but curious.

M: And what may this gift be brother.

I: I am sending you a bodyguard. Think of him as your personal knight.

As soon as the words left his mouth, Margot heard someone choke . Like they had spat out the drink in their mouths.

M: Brother is that you? Are you okay??

I: Err--- Yes I am okay. One of my friends just suddenly choked.

M: Uhm...okay. I understand brother. You fear for my safety and how I may be treated here. But how do I know this your 'knight' is not getting sent here so he becomes some sort of spy for Father.
