Troy, Margot and the boys pulled up to the palace by noon the next day.
"Wooaahhhhh" the boys chorused and Troy chuckled.
Margot slipped out of the car and came face to face with John.
John's face contorted into an expression Margot failed to read before his expression returned neutral.
"Your Majesty" John said with a bow.
"Welcome Your Hi- I mean Ms Margot. Welcome young masters" John said with a nod to each of them.
"John..I trust everything's been going well" Troy said as he bent to pick the boys.
John low key glared at Troy. The man who called himself King had been gone for months. Although Troy worked whilst abroad, it did not have the same effect as the man working on site...in his country...from the palace...within the country.
"Yes Your Majesty" John replied instead of voicing out his thoughts..
Troy chuckled knowing the man kept a grudge against him.
Troy walked into the palace with the boys and he chatted to them, answering their questions. Margot hesitated but she finally moved her feet, slowly moving behind them. Her body seemed to have recalled its muscle memory because Margot moved down the hall with grace. she held her shoulders up an her head straight.
Margot had taken a few steps when she started to hear sniffles. Margot looked around and soon spotted a group of women weeping as they watched her move down the hallway.
Margot's eyes widened when she recognised the women. The older woman now sitting in a wheelchair. She stopped in her tracks.
"Head-" Margot whispered before bolting towards the women.
The older woman laughed in between sobs as she caught Margot in her arms. Margot sobbed and the older woman patted her on the back.
"My Princess....Crown Princess. You've grown" the woman sobbed. Margot cried hard and she wailed, her nerve wracking sobs filling the hallway.
"You've done well Crown Princess. You've done well. They've grown so big!" The older woman gushed and the younger stewards around her held their hands to their mouths to control their sobs.
Margot looked up to the older woman as her cries quietened and the woman smiled down at her as she smoothed her wrinkly hands over her cornrows.
"Have you been well my little one?" Bree asked Margot lovingly and Margot sniffled.
"I-I've been good. I-I'm okay" Margot sobbed and Bree nodded.
Bree cupped Margot's face in her hands.
"I know you've been. You've always been a strong girl. And you've grown into a strong fine woman" Bree chuckled.
Margot nodded.
"Introduce us to the kids later okay? You have to go now" Bree said calmly and Margot shook her head.
Bree chuckled. "Be a good girl Crown Princess" Bree said and Margot stood to her feet. Margot rubbed her tears away.
"Will I see you again....here?" Margot asked.
"Of course PRincess...no one can keep this old woman away" Bree said with a giggle and Margot smiled. She hugged the woman one more time before moving to catch up with Troy and the boys.
Margot fell into step and soon Troy led them into a common lounge room. Memories threatened to flood Margot but she pushed them back.
"Where's the boys room" Margot asked and Jon turned to face her.
