Margot was fast asleep when distant shouts woke her up. She rubbed her eyes and then padded her way to peek into the hallway. She found Dalles in Grayson's arms. Her friend's nightgown was wet with fluid and blood. Margot's eyes widened. Dalles' face was sweaty and her face flushed. She held a pained expression and tears flowed freely down her face. Grayson's face was pale and his eyes were wide. He rushed to get Dalles out of the Palace.

Margot grabbed her purse from the stand beside her and then dashed back to her friend's room. She searched for the emergency bag that they had packed just in case anything happened. It heled everything from daily necessities to their IDs, passports and necessary papers.

Margot dashed back down the stairs and towards the exit.

Grayson's expression morphed into one of relief when he saw Margot. Margot smiled before runnign to get into the passenger's seat in front.

Hendrix seemed to be the driver again.

"Drive!" Grayson roared and Hendrix stepped on the accelerator. A repeat of Margot's labour day toom place one again, just with Dalles being the one screaming in pain.

The four soon arrived at the hospital and a team of medical staff already awaited them at the entrance.

Dalles was wheeled in and Grayson followed. Margot collapsed into a chair at the waiting room.

Ten minutes later the signal changed from grey to red, signalling that Dalles was now being operated on.

Margot sighed and Hendrix grunted. HE wondered why he was always the one caught in these situation. The man started to think he would be the one to drive Betha when it was their turn. How he would navigate the car with the love of his life screaming in pain, he did not know. But he hoped to get some experience driving the other 'women in the family' first.

"Please be okay...please be okay...please be okay" Margot repeatedly muttered.

Unknown to the two individuals currently praying for safe delivery, their elder brother now stood with a pale face staring at the unexpected extra gifts he had just received.

Grayson and Dalles planned for one kid...One. One golden child. The man could not understand why two extra babies now lay crying their lungs out with nurses tending to them. Two babies were significantly smaller than the larger baby and the doctor briefly explained to Grayson that they must have hidden behind their sibling before proceeding to stitch Dalles up.

Grayson stood frozen in place. Dalles who had regained some consciousness reached to grab his hand and he looked down at her. He bent to kiss her forehead and he muttered how well she had done to her.

"My...our baby...is he okay?" Dalles managed to ask in a very weak voice and Grayson smiled as he nodded.

"Yes...yes..they're fine" he said and Dalles frowned. She concluded she had been hearing things due to how tired she was. Before she could ask for some clarification, sleep pulled her in again and soon she was in dreamland.

Grayson chuckled. Three nurses stood with a baby each and the doctor informed Grayson that they would be taken to the NICU for now. She reckoned the bigger baby would be released earlier than his siblings but they had to keep the three of them for now as they were still all underweight and underdeveloped. Dalles was not due for another month. The babies were all 4 weeks early.

Soon Grayson stepped out stiffly. As soon as he was out, Hendrix and Margot stood  and rushed to meet him.

"There are three not two" Grayson said in a daze and his siblings frowned.
