A/N: This chapter is dedicated to realmas78. (●'◡'●) This reader has been following this work since it started. They have also motivated me to finish this book. Their comments in earlier chapters really pushed me to keep going. They've encouraged me and sent me DMs on days I couldn't even lift my fingers to write. Thank you so much for your support realmas78 ^_____^

Also please read the Author's note at the end of the chapter. It is VERY important x

It had been 3 months since Troy had returned to Softlia. Everything had been going smoothly and he had caught up with pending work.

Troy on numerous occasions tried to keep his mind off his lost family but he couldn't. The man was reminded when he woke up, at random times in the day, and he battled thoughts before he slept at night. The man had lost weight and John worried for him but the man did not look ill, just disturbed.

"Your Majesty...it's time" John announced to Troy. Troy switched off his phone before tucking it into his drawer. Today he had to address the people on the progress of the successful trade route. The country was now hoping to grant some form of subsidy to farmers who would opt to use the route.

Margot dialled the number but it did not go through. She tried five more times but the call gave the same result.

Margot bit her lips. Did the man actually decide to leave them for good? Was she too late in making a proper decision concerning the boys? Most of all why was she so conflicted and fickle. One moment she wished the man would drop dead, the next moment, she was hoping he would answer the phone and build a relationship with the boys.

Maybe the man had actually given up.

Margot stood from her seat and walked towards her desk. Settling into her desk chair, she opened her laptop and started drafting.

An hour later, Margot scrolled through the agreement draft satisfied. From experience, she knew the details and content of a Child Arrangements Order. This was less formal so she made it in form of an agreement. Something that was able to hold weight in Court, if anything ever happened. She still did not trust the man so she still had to protect herself and the boys.

She signed her name and signature at the end of the document and then sealed it into an envelope. She slipped the envelope into her work purse, making a mental note to post it on her way to work.

To the King of Softlia,

I am aware that the last meeting we had ended on an awkward note. However, I hope for the boys to have a relationship with you. Enclosed is a parenting agreement. Please do revise this and send your response at your earliest.

Encl.: Agreement.

Yours faithfully,

Margot.

Troy read the letter in shock. He put the letter aside and went over the agreement. Whilst the boys could not stay with him, he could have two visits per week. Troy quickly signed the agreement and sent for John, he was going to have his first visit the next day, delivering the signed agreement to Margot in person.

"Hey" Margot greeted nervously, shivers running up and down her back. She was not sure if it was from the chilly spring breeze or from the instilled fear of the man before her.

"H-hey" Troy replied. "I-I got the agreement. I-Thank...Thank you. I- I do-" Troy was now at loss for words.

"It's ... can we have a talk first?" Margot asked, pointing into the house and towards the direction of the living room.
