Y/n's POV:

It's been two weeks since Scarlett's birthday, and things are starting to feel like they're going back to normal. Which is slightly terrifying as I have this guilt of getting on with my life and that I might forget Jimmy. Which is stupid because he's an unforgettable man!

It was my birthday a couple of days ago, but we didn't do anything special as it was a weekday, and I wasn't really in the mood. Scarlett decided that this trip would be a celebration for that too. Not wanting me to miss out. Though we did all go out for a nice meal with my parents, Lizzie, and Sophie.

During the last couple of weeks we fell back into our routine with work and school. Enjoying dinners together in the evenings whilst sharing about our days. Work for me is unusually quiet. As I only have six weeks left, I've been getting everything ready for a hand over and helping Julia get ready to take over. She's going to be officially promoted into my role, so I might as well help her out as much as I can whilst I'm still here.

Scarlett is starting to get busy in preparation for Endgame. Which will start being filmed next year. It's very exciting as Ava and I will be joining her for the time she's out in Atlanta. I thought that Ava would be sad that she wasn't going to be in school, but she's looking forward to doing online school and says that she'll have so many stories to tell everyone when she goes back.

I've decided that I'm not going to think about what I'm going to do next until the new year and that starts with seriously thinking about Sophie's offer. Alan Silvestri also wants to talk with me more about the music for Endgame. It started off with the Real Hero and he's been posing things to me about other pieces too. Which is totally surreal!

That's why this holiday has come at the perfect time. Just before everything changes and it gives us a chance for some quality time together as the three of us. As a family, which we've not been able to do for over eight months now. I think I'm more excited than Ava about going. So much so, that I'm struggling to sleep the night before we leave.

It's only an hour and a half drive there, so we're not leaving too early so we can check straight into the hotel, but it doesn't mean that I'm not pretty much ready and waiting to go at 8am!

Ava joins me in the excitement when she's up and Scarlett has to face dealing with two children this morning. To kill some time, we play on the switch for a bit and before we know it, it's time for us to leave. I start to pack up the car, whilst Scarlett makes sure we have snacks for the journey. I set my phone up with our trusty Disney playlist and then we hit the road for our Disney trip!

The whole journey we sing along, though we all stop when we drive past the Disneyland sign. Ava starts to excitedly squeal from the back, and I'm not going to lie, it takes a lot for me to not join in with her! Scarlett reaches out and takes my hand in hers and I turn to her to give her a big cheesy grin. This is going to be a perfect holiday!

I follow the signs to the Disneyland Hotel and pull up at the valet station. The valet takes my keys whilst I take the bags out of the boot and place them on a trolley, following Ava and Scarlett, who are holding hands. We approach the check in desk and the man behind it instantly goes into a panic when he sees who's in front of him. I manage to pull his attention on to me, but I can see his eyes flicking to Scarlett. "Hi, we've got a booking under Y/l/n." I say with a smile which he returns. "Oh, uh. Let me just check for you." He says, turning his attention to the screen in front of him.

Ava has her hands on the counter and is pushed up on her tip toes so she can see. "Ah, yes. Here we are. You have a suite booked and I can collect your magic bands for you." He says, disappearing to a room behind the check in. He's not gone for long, and he returns with a box with three magic bands in. Both Scarlett and Ava picked red because, well Black Widow, whilst I went for orange.
