Scarlett's POV:
Thankfully, the sickness bug that the three of us had has seemed to pass. After the horror first day, with rest our bodies were getting back to normal. Y/n took a little longer to get back to full health, and I'm sure that's because she pushed herself that morning to make sure we were all ok. But when she woke up today, she's bright as a button and looking as good as ever. Thankfully we're better in time for our bachelorette parties this weekend. Mine is up first this evening before Y/n has hers tomorrow.
My parents and Hunter arrived yesterday evening. Thankfully, Robert went to collect them, so we didn't have to drive. He wanted us to make sure we were 100% and didn't think driving two hours to collect them would help. Mom fussed over us all evening, but when she saw we were ok, she then moved on to being super excited for the wedding.
It almost doesn't feel real that it's only 4 days until the big day. Mom and dad added their wedding outfits to hang in our 'wedding room'. Which is just the guest room we're keeping everything up together in. Though my dress is hidden away at Lizzie's house for now. Ready to be taken to the hotel the night before the wedding.
I have no idea what Lizzie has planned for tonight. Between her, Hunter, and Chris, I'm a little scared. If wild Lizzie comes out, then it's going to be an interesting night! I invited my parents to the party, but they politely declined. I don't think they want to be worrying about finding anything out that they don't want to!
So, Y/n is planning on a family night in with them, Ava, and Sophie. I'm almost jealous of it. I hate the idea of missing out on family fun. Which is stupid because we've been able to spend so much time together recently. I'm just being clingy, not wanting to be away from the two loves of my life! But I know that Lizzie has gone to a lot of effort for tonight and I'm going to have a great time.
Lizzie told me not to dress up too fancy today, so Y/n helped me pick out a pair of cream chinos and a maroon shirt. Once I'm dressed, I finish doing my make up before heading downstairs to wait for my brother to finish getting ready. I can't believe it's taking him longer than me!
I sit next to Y/n, and she instantly wraps her arm around me. "You look beautiful my love." She compliments me and I feel my cheeks blush. "Are you excited for tonight?" She asks me whilst we watch over dad doing his turn on Mario Party. "Yeah, though I feel like I'm going to be missing out on all the fun here!" I pout and she laughs. "You're meant to be enjoying your last night of freedom and all that. Albeit a few days early." She says but I shake my head. "I don't want it. I don't ever want to be free of you!" I tell her sincerely, leaning in and getting the kiss I've been craving all evening.
"If you keep going like that, your parents are not going to like me." She whispers to me when I try and slip my tongue in. I sigh but rest my head on her shoulder instead, taking comfort in her arms. She gently runs her hand up and down my arm as we laugh at how frustrated mom is getting with the game. "I'm starting to see where you get your competitive nature from!" She jokes, but it's true. Mom always comes across the calm one but put a monopoly board in front of her and she's a monster!
Eventually, Hunter makes his way downstairs, still fiddling with his hair as he does. "Finally!" I call when he makes his appearance. "What? You can't rush the process." He says with a shrug. I just roll my eyes and stand up to grab my bag. "Make sure you look after your sister." Mom orders Hunter who gives a playful salute. "And you have a great time. Let yourself go and enjoy it. And if you need me, just call." Y/n says to me, wrapping her arms around my waist.
"I love you." I tell her, stealing a kiss before Ava joins us. "I love you too angel." I give Ava and my parents a hug and Y/n throws her keys at Hunter. "Not. A. Scratch." She emphasises with a raised eyebrow. "I promise!" She says as he guides me out to the car. "Y/n promised I could drive it when I was here." He explains as I climb into the passenger seat. I just nod and settle in for the short journey to Lizzies.
