Scarlett's POV:

The next weeks seems to fly by. We get into a bit of a routine, but Leo definitely doesn't like lying in! We get up a few times during the night for him to feed and change him. He's not too needy from a comfort perspective, but we do enjoy having some cuddles whilst we tend to his needs.

Y/n and I are in a perpetual state of being tired. She often lets me sleep when all he needs is feeding, as I'm not able to do that yet. Though my body seems to natural wake up with her. Even if he doesn't wake up, we both seem to find ourselves awake every three hours. We are taking the opportunity to sleep whenever we get the chance. Which tends to be when we have visitors. One of us will go off and have an hour or so nap to help boost the batteries!

Thankfully, Ava isn't in school just yet, so we have time before we have to adjust our routine to include the school run, along with her after school activities. It's worked out quite nicely as we're able to settle into being a family of four and having a child that needs our attention all of the time.

We announced his birth two days ago through a released statement. We kept it short sharing four pictures. They will be the only pictures that will share to the public. It's important for us to try and protect him as much as we can. The pictures we shared were easy enough to pick. The main photo was of him on his own, looking adorable in his subtle Avengers onesie and Y/n insited her wore. The second is of our first family of four photo. We also shared an adorable photo of Ava when she was holding Leo on his first with us as well as the photo Y/n captured of me carrying him out of the hosptial.

The press loved the pictures and fans were coo about our new son all over social media. Thankfully, it calmed down after a few days and we've been able to go out with relatively little issues with both fans or paps. It felt weird announcing him to the world, but we wanted to be in control of it. By releasing a photo of him it stops the paparazzi fighting to be the first to capture a picture. Hopefully, it'll work to our benefit.

Over the last few days, Leo is starting to recognise people. He loves hearing me speak and sing, but I know his favourite snuggles are with Y/n. But I think he's happiest with his big sister. Ava really has been amazing. Although he can't do a lot, she's always checking in on him. She'll read to him and tell him all about her day. It's adorable.

Leo also has a soft spot for his godmother, which is sweet. When Lizzie visits, we barely get to see our own son. But if I'm honest, it gives us a chance to relax a little, and we both need that! I think Lizzie is definitely getting broody and Y/n is teasing Robbie about it mercilessly.

"Y/n/n, I think he's hungry." Lizzie walks back into the living room with Leo resting on her should, crying. "I feel like he only wants me when he's hungry. I'm basically just his feeder at this point." She jokes, but I see the uncertainty in her eyes. "That's not true babe. He loves a mummy snuggle." I try to reassure her. "Snuggles with my boobs sure." She laughs, playing it off. But I make a note to talk to her about it later. Y/n really is a pro at breastfeeding. She does it so easily and can multi-task too. I don't even do the feeding and I get distracted.

We've been making sure to keep up the skin to skin contact. It's helping us build a bond really quickly with Leo, which I'm loving. We've also started small amounts of Tummy time. At the moment it's just on our chest or lap, but Leo doesn't seem much of a fan at the moment.

Today, we're planning on having our first family visit to the café. We've been out for lots of walks since the birth, but I'm excited to take him somewhere so special. Y/n is even more so, but mainly to show him off. He's the cutest baby, not that we're biased, and we plan to show everyone that!

I'm making sure that Ava is all sorted whilst Y/n is getting Leo in his car seat and moving the stroller into the trunk. Y/n has healed really well from labour, and our slight scare, and is back to trying to do everything she was before she got pregnant. She tried to do things earlier, but I was able to stop her. But once Leo hit three weeks, it was like she felt like she doesn't have an excuse anymore.
