Y/n's POV:

This trip away is exactly what Scarlett and I need to relax and unwind, as well as taking our mind of the impending test results. It's been such a frantic last month or so. Work has been so busy being in the studio with Alan and working most days on the café. Add on top of that everything that happened with my bio parents and finding out that Scarlett can't carry. It's all been quite a lot for us. This trip gives us a chance to relax and enjoy time together and with our closest friends.

When mum and dad appear with four of the biggest jugs I've seen, full of cocktails, I just know that we're all going to be smashed by this evening. I help grab some glasses from the kitchen and we pour out the drinks, and everyone takes one of their choice.

I take my first sip and I practically choke on it. "Dad! This is basically just pure vodka!" I exclaim as Scarlett pats my back. "There's some orange and pineapple juice in there too." He defends. Mum then appears with two cartoons of juice and adds some to all our glasses. "Ah, much better. Thanks mum." I smile as I tap a sip of my drink. "I should have taste tested your father's before we brought them out." She admits, making us all laugh as dad pouts.

We spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the sun. The more we drink, the drunker we're getting and we're soon acting out synchronised swimming in the pool in pairs, the others scoring out of ten. Tom is a total show off and displaying his extremely athletic skills by flipping and pulling the weirdest shapes.

When it comes to dinner, both Chris' man the grill whilst the rest of us prepare some salad and potatoes. Dinner is full of laughter and I must say, some of the best barbequed steak that I've had. I'm completely stuffed and I'm sure the food has helped to sober everyone up a bit.

We all head off to shower and decide to come back down and sit around the fire pit for the rest of the evening. Scarlett and I get a bit distracted in the shower, but somehow, still end up downstairs before everyone else. "If I knew we'd be early, we could have gone for round two." She husks in my ear, her arms wrapping around from behind tightly. Her voice sends a shiver through my body. "Nothing stopping us heading back up." I raise my eyebrow at her, and her eyes go a little dark. But we're soon distracted by the sound of someone in the kitchen.

Scarlett lets out a huff, making be giggle. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you get round two." I smirk, placing a kiss to her head and making my way to the fire pit to get it started. I grab out the firewood and kindling, setting up a good base. Once the fire is going strong, I start to add additional logs and I end up with a pretty impressive fire going.

As I stand back and admire my handy work, a see a bottle in my side view. "Here you go babe." Scarlett smiles at me, handing me a bottle of cider. "Thank you, angel." I return, leaning down for a kiss. "God! Can't you keep it in your pants?" Lizzie groans playfully. "It was just a peck Lizzie. Don't be a prude." Scarlett replies but Lizzie just scoffs.

This seems to activate something in Scarlett and the next thing I know, her hand grips at the back of my neck and pulls me into her aggressively. Our lips smack together, and her tongue instantly invades my mouth. I don't hesitate in responding to the kiss, my empty hand wrapping around her waist and pulling her into me as close as I could.

The sound of a distressed groan pulls us apart and we both start laughing. "I'll take the peck next time." Lizzie sighs, walking over to one of the chairs around the fire. Smirking, Scarlett takes my hand and pulls me to the small sofa. She practically pushes me down on it and then sits next to me as close as she can. I wrap my arm around her shoulder, and she rests her head on mine. Once she's comfy, I place a kiss to her head, and I catch Lizzie smiling over the two of us. "God, I miss Robbie." She sighs. "You saw him yesterday." Scarlett replies and I pinch her side. "Be nice. We were like that once." I remind her. "Once? You're still like it now. Scarlett only has to be away from you for a couple of hours and she's pining after you." Lizzie quickly jumps in.
