Y/n's POV:
We've had an absolutely amazing time in Atlanta. I'm quite sad that it's come to an end. Scarlett's filming finished a week earlier than the others. So, the three of us headed home so we could finish getting everything sorted for the wedding. We only have three weeks to make sure that everything is booked and ready to go.
A few weeks before we came home, Mary-Kate and Ashley flew out to Atlanta and brought the dress with them. It is perfect and I'm totally in love with it. They did such an amazing job at making it, that they had very few amendments to make. I can't thank them enough for doing it for me. The moment it came out of the bag, I knew it was the one. It was the feeling I had hoped to feel when we went shopping.
Lizzie really isn't happy that she's not been able to even see the design. She said something about deserving it as both the sister of the designer and bestie of the bride. Although Lizzie was meant to take Scarlett out of the house whilst the twins came over, I'm pretty sure it was Scarlett that was dragging Lizzie out to go for lunch!
The weekend before we left, we had a big cast barbeque at our place. I've never seen so many celebrities in one place in a personal setting. It was the first time I was meeting a few of them, such as Zoe Salanda, Evangeline Lilly, and David Bautista. My favourite person I met though was Letitia Wright. I absolutely loved her in Blank Panther, but she was also brilliant in Black Mirror.
We got on really well and she has such a great sense of humour. We very quickly had a small British clique form with both Toms, Paul, Benedict, and Karen drifting towards us. It was nice being surrounded by familiar accents. Although I love being here in LA, I do miss England.
One night, the cast also had a night out to celebrate the end of filming before a few of them left. Safe to say Scarlett enjoyed herself that night. I offered to be their taxi driver and ended up having a car full of drunkards, who all ended up coming home with us. As I had Ava, she was in the car with me asleep but that didn't last for long when her uncles and Aunt joined us.
Chris, Tom and Lizzie are the biggest light weights of the group, so I was having to ferry each of them up to their guest room. Somehow Scarlett was able to carry Ava up to her room and put her to bed. Which was amazing to watch as when I picked her up from the club, she was barely able to stand, let alone carry an 8 year old!
It's safe to say that we're going to miss them all a lot. But the premiere for Infinity War is 10 days after we're back and then it's the wedding! So, we'll be seeing plenty of them before the summer comes around.
Although I was sad that we had left Atlanta, the moment we walked through the door of our home, I instantly felt happy to be back in our safe place. Ava rushed upstairs to see her room that she has missed so much. Though I can't blame her. We tried to make her room as homey as possible, but she has such an amazing room at home, it was never going to compare.
She added her baby Groot toy with Mr Snuggles on her bed and was then hiding away in her little den under her bed. This gave Scarlett and I time to unpack and start on the endless laundry that needed doing. Feeling tired from traveling and getting settled back at home, there was no way either of us were cooking so I drove to get burgers from Mama Gina, knowing how much we had missed them whilst we were gone.
We don't have much time to rest though as we have a lot of things to get started on. Scarlett was jumping straight into meetings for Jojo Rabbit. So, I was doing the run around of collecting anything that needed picking up for the wedding. Sophie is by my side for most of it, taking her role as wedding planner very seriously.
I missed not seeing her after she left, so I was happy that she was joining me to do this. It also means a lot to be sharing this exciting time with my best friend. Today we're collecting the Bridesmaid's dresses and Ava's dress up from the shop. All the amendments to the dresses are done and we're getting them now so there is one less thing that we need to worry about.
