They placed the five remaining eggs on a long sofa she had, placed in her room and the older woman light the embers in the fireplace to keep the room warm.

"Goodnight Rori" Rhaenys bid her goodbye and left her alone in her room.

Aurora smiled at the empty room before her eyes focused on the growing flames inside the fireplace. The bright fire danced a hypnotic dance lulling Aurora into a trance and making her get closer until her hand was almost inside the fire.

A knock on the door startled her and she quickly retrieved her hand from where it had been going to.

"My lady" a servant made her way quickly inside with a large tray filled with different covered plates and fruits "Your dinner"

"Dinner?" Aurora looked at the woman in shock, how long had she been staring at the fire? "Oh yes, please place it on the table"

Once the woman had done so she left in the same hurry she had come inside with.

Aurora sat down on the other sofa close to the eggs and uncovered the first plate. The smell of freshly cooked meat entered her nose and she welcomed it gladly. Picking up one of the silver forks and knives she stabbed and cut into the soft meat, the sides of her mouth giving her a sharp pain as her mouth watered.

Aurora carefully placed the piece of meat into her mouth and shuffled a little out of content when she tasted it.

As she continued to stuff her face, not really caring much for manners, especially since she was alone at the moment, she nudged the plates a bit more to her left and brought out some parchment, a quill and a bottle of ink.

Taking one gulp from the goblet of wine, she left the food alone for a bit while she decided what to write to her father. Dipping the tip of the feather in the dark liquid she placed it on the paper and begun writing quickly, the scratching of the quill's tip on the rough paper filling the room as the skies darkened.

She opened the door of her chambers and poked her head out. Aurora spotted a knight who was doing his rounds and quickly called him over.

"Send this letter to lord Belgrave immediately" she watched him march off before going back inside her room and closing the door.

Since she was not tired, Aurora decided to pass the time a bit by warming the eggs up.

She grabbed the red and black one gently and walked up to the hearth. Cupping the egg in both hands, she held it above the warm flames, watching it carefully and feeling it begin to warm up. She was calm until she realised that the egg was smoking, her hands had gotten too close to the fire and the egg was heating up very quickly.

"Shit!" she whispered to herself as she snatched her hands from the fire so quickly she almost dropped the precious cargo "You're okay, you're all right. It's fine..."

She continued to coo at the baby inside the hard scaled shell. Scared that the egg was now hurt, Aurora made the choice to keep it with her in her bed for the night. As gently as she could on the silk sheets of her bed before turning around and undressing as fast as she could.

Once she was clad in her soft night robe and the eggs were covered in a warm blanket, Aurora opened her own blankets sliding in and grabbing the egg close to her chest. She gently stroked one finger across the bumpy scales that covered the shell of the egg singing a lullaby she remembered from her old life. With tired eyes she curled more into herself letting the melancholic melody lull her to sleep.

On a ship out in open sea, a pale haired princess hummed soft tunes to the night air while the sea foam from the waves sometimes splashed at her feet. Her three children had already been put to sleep not too long ago and most of the men were down below as well except for the ones in charge of directing the boat.

"'Hand returns to loom; spool of green and spool of black now drowned in spool of blue. Wings of black and eyes of green watch the string of fate now coloured blue'" she muttered lowly in a daze.

Her head tilted up one more to catch one last glance at the stars and then the lady walked to the room that had been reserved for her and her children.

Aemond Targaryen landed his dragon roughly in the fields beyond King's Landing's palace. He quickly made his way back up the stairs to it after dismounting from his dragon only to find his mother, the Dowager Queen, standing with her maids in the centre of the main staircase that lead up to the chambers of the royal family.

"Where have you been?" Alicent asked her son stiffly.

"Out flying Vhagar" he returned the question with a short answer.

"Oh. How was it?" Alicent tried to continue the talk with her youngest son.

"Fine" Aemond walked around the older woman and trudged down to his quarters.

Alicent watched with sad eyes as her son walked away from her.

Aemond did not feel bad about how he was treating his mother. Ever since Helaena, her children and dragon, Dreamfyre, had disappeared his mother had begun to show her true colours to everyone. She acted on her impulses and she had a shorter temper even with him.

But never with Aegon. Never with her precious first born who still drank, fucked and slept while the Council and his brother did his job for him.

He removed the eyepatch covering the jewel incrusted in the hollow where his eye was supposed to be, the purple precious stone glowing with the stars as Aemond looked up, his thoughts plagued by the older woman who had whisked his sister away.

Daemon was sat silently during the dinner with his family, something that somewhat alarmed his wife as he wasn't usually this calm. He had encountered a knight when he had made his way back to DragonStone and he had stopped the man.

Daemon had taken the letter he was carrying, reading it before handing it back to the knight and storming up the stairs.
