"Come along children" Rhaenys ushered the four youngest to their father who stood watching them with his hands behind his back "Follow your father back to the palace and change. You all reek of dragon"
With pouts from the youngest couple, they trudged after Daemon as the man led the way back up to the palace.
"Aurora, could you come with me for a bit before we go up as well?" Rhaneys said.
With an exaggerated flourish Aurora hooked her arm around the older woman's and Rhaenys made them follow Thanatos as the massive black dragon walked back inside the cave near which they had landed.
"What is it? Why are we going in there Rhaenys?" the young woman asked the princess.
"You'll see soon enough"

"Oh my!" a shocked voice echoed inside the darkness of a cave.
"Indeed" the owner of the other voice kneeled down and reached their hand into the fleshy goo, tearing it apart and making liquid seep out of the tear like sap from a tree "I was beginning to wonder why she had been getting so fat" there was a warning growl at that remark.
With another yank, Rhaenys created a large enough hole in the slimy sac to be able to pull out the treasures inside it. She had luckily remembered to carry thick cow hide gloves with her before doing such a thing as the sac was nearly boiling hot both outside and inside.
With one hand she passed the rounded object to Aurora who cradled it carefully in her arms. The remaining heat that clung onto it didn't permeate the thick riding leathers she was wearing.
Aurora looked down at the scaly egg in her arms. It was mostly black but faded gradually down to a bright red once it reached the bottom.
She had a fond look as she kept her eyes on it.
Rhaenys was quick to dislodge the next egg from its place. This one had a fully vibrant red egg.
