When Apollo and Chaos met, to say I was relieved was an understatement, I was beyond pleased, to say the least. I was thankful that both men tried to compromise for my sake. It was clear that their first encounter was unlooked-for. It was also obvious that they tried to make things lighter for me, tried is the keyword.

It came out awkward - to be honest.

"You cook?" Apollo asked as he forked - if that's even a word, the food.

We were sitting in my dining room enjoying the food Chaos made for me - well for us. Their staggering height wasn't unnoticed as they made my kitchen looked a bit smaller than it looked if it was just me. Not to mention, the amount of manly scent clouded my nostrils and hell, you won't even hear me complaining. I have two beautiful men eating late lunch with me and I feel like I'm the queen.

My boyfriend who is the most wonderful human being in the world and my new found best friend, who cooks really good and is the most attractive person I've seen in my entire life - next to Apollo, is feeding me with attention. Though, I wish they could have been more open to being friends with each other.

"What'd you think?"

But one could only hope. This is better than having them punching each other's throats. I can't blame them for being aloof and cold, it wasn't their obligation to befriend with each other just for my sake. Though, again, one could only hope.

"I think you needed more practice."

I bit my lip. Hearing their conversation made me shake my head for quite some time now, it almost made me dizzy. Men's egos are so hard to understand.

"With the way you're eating it," Chaos pointedly looked at Apollo's plate which was almost finished, "I don't think I needed more."

Apollo looked at Chaos and paused as he was about to take another forkful of the pasta. I bit my lip to stop myself from smiling. Chaos was a witty kid - I'd give him that. I'm so sorry baby, "Caly would never eat this." My smile faded.

I saw Chaos as he clenched his jaw and continued to stare at Apollo. I frowned at Apollo. That was so rude. I know how much effort Chaos invested in cooking for me even if I was being selfish about his feelings. What Apollo said was totally below the belt. Chaos cleared his throat and tried to mask his clenched jaw with a friendly smile. "I wouldn't say that-"

"Caly wouldn't eat this." He cut him off. I reached for Apollo's arm and squeezed it. Mentally saying to stop it. Apollo looked at me with his eyebrows raised, "Why?"

"Apollo." I sternly said his name.

Apollo rolled his eyes. "Fettuccine has garlic, baby. You have garlic allergies. Your friend," He nodded at Chaos who was frowning and looking at me. "He should at least keep that in mind. You get me, Charlie?"

Oh, right. Then I frowned at him again, "Chaos." I corrected.
