Across town from Metropolis, lays a small area that usually hosts a ghetto away from the main Metropolis city. Not much comes out of this place, other than crime.
However there is a certain exception, here also lies a tall white building that is known as Black Systems.
Black Systems is a company that focuses on producing advanced computer systems and software, they are the main suppliers of the government's systems and supply chips to 3rd party manufacturers who produce smartphones, computers, speakers, TVs and more.
But they are more than just a consumer manufacturer.
Josh Black is the CEO of this company, he has combed back Black hair, he sports a goatee and is always seen in the finest clothing. He drives a Bently to work, always wears a gold watch and has the typical attitude of a high valued person.
His power is called Shadow, he can manipulate shadows and become a shadow however this ability is not very powerful, he was never known for his physical strength, even the entire Black family never had good strength. His range is a 2.7, like I said not very powerful.
He did however come from a family of wealth instead and uses his family business to get by instead.
But, he wasn't content with staying weak. He wanted to wield more physical power.
Josh Black gets up from his long, stained wood desk that held all the supplies a CEO would need and then some. He stepped out his green felt floored office and into a cafeteria, to grab a cup of coffee.
As Josh was brewing his drink, the Head of Design appeared as well to grab a drink.
"Ah Mojave, didn't think I'd see you today! I thought you took the day off?" Mr. Black greeted him.
Mojave Ubuntu is the Head Of Design for Black Systems, he usually is the one who designs and creates new technological breakthroughs. His power is Electro and he has a range of around 3.5, pretty common since most people can't make it past 5.0. Mojave is also very good friends with Josh.
"Eh I decided to come in anyways." Mojave fixed himself a cup of caffeine beans. "I don't have a wife and kids so I've basically have more free time to create new technology."
"Can't relate unfortunately, got a wife back home." Josh conversed. "How's Project Xintel?"
"Xintel chips are already beating performance numbers provided by Intel's latest chips. We might be looking at a revolution in performance here pretty soon." Mojave sipped his drink.
"Good good, I'm think about calling those chips Black Cores Series 3. Wouldn't want to confuse the consumer from our old chips." Josh pitched his idea.
"Oh yeah, yeah I totally get that. We were fixing to call them the same thing too!" Mojave agreed with his friend.
Josh leaned over to him and made sure no one was around, he looked at Mojave in the eye and whispered. "How is Project Charger going on? Do you have a working prototype yet?"
"Charger is currently being tested as we speak." Mojave replied silently. "Soon the Charger will allow anyone to have their range extended by at least 3.0, we're trying to push it further but a extension by 3.0 is certainly going to be guaranteed." Mojave explained the details.
"Sounds good, I'll leave you to keep up on the work." Black smiled and left to return to his desk.
Project Charger was going to be much more of a game changer than Project Xintel.
