"Gentlemen, there are two things we need to discuss right now!" Daniel began, pacing around the room.
Salvus and I had arrived as quickly as possible, Daniel had informed us that this was urgent and needed to be addressed as soon as possible.
"Issue number one, that same neighborhood around Black Systems? There has been a huge rise in the amount of low rangers, flexing strengths that should only be possible on a very high ranging person. That's not an issue it's self but it's the fact that the same people who managed to gain this strength are using it to aid criminal activity and thus an immediate spike of crime had hit the area. The Government explained that their forces cannot take these people down so they need our aid." Daniel frantically held a large notepad, describing the situation.
"A rise? What the fuck could it possibly be giving these people access to a higher potential?" I blurted aloud, confused.
"I suspect it has something to do with Black Systems, they fired me for having a connection with Aurora not to long ago." Salvus added.
"Either way, this time it'll be much more difficult. I have arranged for a new team member for you, they've got their training done so they should be valuable help." Daniel opened the office door behind him and gestured somebody in.
"Gentlemen meet Astral, your new Delta teammember."

"Oh, hi. Nice to meet you. I'm Emerson." I held out my hand, she looked at me coldly and shook it firmly. "You're the Alpha? Interesting."
What the hell is that supposed to mean? I'm a 9.3 Of COURSE I'm the head of the team.
"I'm Salvus." Salvus waved but didn't do much else.
"I already know you two's abilities and levels, I just wasn't expecting you two to look this." She said directly.
Rude.
"It is only proper Astral that these two know your strengths so you three can corporate on the field." Daniel turned to her and instructed.
"Yes. My power is Astromic Manipulation and I'm a range 6.0" Astral informed us.
"Astromic?"
"Ability to generate, destroy and control astronomical objects."
"Not bad, that's a great." I sighed and put my hands on my hips. "We are going to need lots of range to defeat whoever these fucks are."
Daniel walked over to a chalkboard and drew out a small map. "This here is Black Systems, these are the numerous reports of crime. My guess is that something from Black Systems is causing this sudden rush in activity. My plan here is to investigate the building to see if it's really the company actual causing the attacks or not."
"9.3, 7.0 and 5.7, that should be easy for the three of us." Salvus slammed his fist on his other hand.
"Not so fast there son, I'm afraid for this large scale mission, this will require a FULL team." Daniel gave an unfortunate expression to Salvus.
He's right, we'veonly got Alpha, Gamma and Delta. We still need Beta and Omega.
"In the meantime, all four of us will have to actively search out to fill these remaining positions." Daniel concluded. "It is possible of a team of three to investigate the building but that leaves more room for error than a team of five."
"I understand sir." I shook my head. "This is going to be a big one."
"And I'm afraid you might find an old friend of mine, one who doesn't like me very well. But enough of that, point of this is....Black Systems needs investigating and you three need to fill in the last two slots." Daniel put his notepad away in his desk. "You three are dismissed."
We left his office, I was somewhat shaken but understood what had to be done.
"That was a very dramatic speech." Astral commented.
"Sometimes it is necessary." I glanced over to here, already starting to not like her.
Golly I just met you and already you're kinda mean.
"One things for sure though, filling in the other two would be difficult." Salvus thought.
I was going to offer the positions to Celina and Fiora but since our scene, mostly caused by my dumbass. That idea is basically down the toilet with shit covered in it.
"What Daniel said about Black Systems, how he has an old friend there who doesn't like him? What does he mean by that?" I asked.
"Well for one he's obviously not his friend if he doesn't like Daniel." Astral pointed out.
"She's got a point." Salvus held out his index.
"But what does B.S. have that could be causing all of this, B.S. is just a computer company, nothing less and nothing more." I tried to think.
"Unless they are developing computer chips that could theoretically triple the effect of the ability once implanted into a person?" Astral added.
"Hold on to that thought because that sounds complete plausible."
