Emerson's P.O.V. :

I held out my arm up against Salvus, watching the three. "Not yet Salv."

The three strange me drew up their abilities and recognized us. "Well if it isn't Mr. No-Mark and his useless friend."

That statement emotionally hurt me again, I could feel my body tingle. Knowing that my fate is being alone.

"Shut the hell up. All of you." Blue energy began to glow from me.

"Or else what?" One of them said. "Mr. Black gave us some nice gifts that allows us to be stronger than anyone!"

Mr. Black? Who's Mr. Black, could it be related to Black Systems?

"How about a 9.3?" I started to grin. Like a psycho.

"N-nine t-three?" Another said, startled.

"He's just bluffi-"

Energy orbs appeared around me. Large ones. I aimed at the three and said. "You sure?"

"Jeez Em stop showing off." Salvus rolled his eyes. "If Celina saw you, she'd laugh at you."

I hope she does.

I unleashed the energy onto them and then swiftly fired an energy beam right at them. However one of the fucks had a shield-like ability activated, so my simple attacks wouldn't work.

Should I use full high range force on them, should I use complicated moves? I could do all of those things easily or should I......?

Salvus saw my eye twitch and my half smile. He knew something was up. "Alpha, don't do it."

"Shut the hell up Gamma, you got a mark, everyone likes you, you're doing well. You don't know me." I shoved him out of the way.

I raised my hand which turned into an energy claw. The three looked at me strange.

"That? Your gonna scare us with that? Ha thats-"

"It's time to face your fears." My grin was crooked and I felt off.

My emotions many times are what drives my ability, in many ways my emotions also control how I use my ability too.

I crept closer and closer until I stood directly in front of the three.

Instantly my hand created a link between the three and I drained their LIFE energy away from them, the three shouted in pain as their life force was being taken away.

"Emerson what are you doing?! Stop it you aren't like this! This is not what you would do!" Salvus forgot the whole call sign thing entirely. "Please stop it! Let's just get them arrested and-"

I shouted back at my teammate. I didn't want to hear shit anymore. I was a fucking wreck.

The men hollored until they collapsed, extremely weak. They had very little energy left. I stopped sapping their energy and turned away, not intending to kill them.

"Leave them." I said to Salvus. "It'll take years for their life energy to recover and by that time they won't want to do this shit ever again."

"Alp- fuck it EMERSON. Why did you do that!? That's your most dangerous skill and you know that! I thought you were better than that I thought maybe-"

"Salvus, you're not me. I don't care alright? I didn't kill them nor physically harm them, maybe if you felt depressed once in a while you'll understand." I walked away from him. "Get away from me before you make it worse."

He stood there, completely shocked. I absolutely didn't care anymore and walked away.

Sure I erupted out of nowhere, I understand that's crazy but sometimes you just explode.

But that doesn't make it right.
