I actually enjoyed the following two days at home. On Tuesday, we got Jisung's birthday live and then Felix's. Somehow, the free time I had went by really quickly while watching them and my mood got way better too.

It was a win-win all along.

I still had to pack too, and it took me more time than I expected. I couldn't believe how many things I had bought in just a couple of months, mostly clothes and creams. I just got to Korea with a medium-sized suitcase and now I had to ask Sofia to lend me a big one to move all my things. In a matter of months, I was going to be forced to send all my stuff in boxes if I kept buying things like that.

I teared up the whole morning on Thursday though. It was still Wednesday in L.A., but my parents and my brother called me and sang to me for my birthday with a cupcake. I wanted to hug them so bad the moment I saw them on the screen... Don't tell this to my brother though, thank you.

I changed apartments really fast around midday. I had planned on eating out with Sofia so maybe I rushed more than I should have.

"Hello?" I picked up my phone about to go out.

"How's the most beautiful young woman out there?" It was my grandpa.

"What are you saying?" Complained my grandma, she was probably sitting next to him somewhere, I could picture them.

"But she is!"

"I'm great, thank you, grandpa".

"I'm so sorry we can't be with you today. We never thought you'd be here at this time of the year".

"It's ok. I'll meet my friends today anyway".

"Bet she's going to see someone anyway", said grandma. A smile crept into my face knowing she had found out I was with someone.

"How's Jeju?" They were spending that week on Jeju Island.

"It's so pretty! I'll send you a bunch of photos later, don't worry. Maybe you should have come with us".

"Just leave her alone!" It was my grandma again.

"Seems like my darling is getting jealous. Well, happy birthday sweetie. Your grandma wishes you a nice day too".

"Thank you both".

"We're going to eat something good when we are back".

"Sure thing! Enjoy your trip".

"We will. Bye-bye"

They were so sweet. I had started to know grandma better too. She looked cold and hard as stone but she always cooked healthy meals for me when I visited them or even send them with my grandpa when he went to Seoul and would talk slower so I could understand her easier. I think it was her way of showing love.

I grabbed lunch with Sofia and went to get some hair claws at a very cute store she found not long ago. It ended up being my birthday present. I was very grateful about meeting her at the fan event, if it was not because of her; I think I would have struggled a lot in Korea.

Our vibes matched really well, both were extroverts but got embarrassed quite easily at dumb stuff so it was easy not to cross the boundaries of each other while being ridiculous in the street since we had similar limits.

Although Chan told me he was going to be very busy that day, I waited for his call the whole afternoon. But the only call I got was from the police station. They had caught the guy.

He was a salaryman who worked in Gangnam. It seems he just followed me because he found me "pretty" and "interesting", according to what he said to the officer, with whom I exchanged an exasperated look. What a creepy guy!
