"Are you at the hotel already?" I asked surprised.
"Yeah", he threw himself on the bed and propped himself to look at the phone screen. We were making a video call; I was shocked at how fast they got to Moscow. "Is your voice better?" He asked giggling.
"I think so; I drank some tea with honey". That morning I could barely speak, Chan couldn't stop laughing at me. I gave my all at their concert after all. "Did you eat?"
"We are going to eat now". I nodded. "Are you done with your luggage?"
"Not really", I chuckled. I was supposed to get home and get my suitcase done. "I had breakfast and knocked off on the couch. But I'm making it now". I showed him the half-empty suitcase with the camera.
"Ah, by the way, you left your hair tie on the night table".
"Really? I thought I put it in my purse. That's why I couldn't find it..."
"I'll give it back to you in Seoul".
"Thank you, I didn't want to lose it". It was a really pretty hair tie. It was pink with two thin strains of white lace and a golden flower hanging from it; it was a gift from my grandpa. "Are you filming today?"
"No, we are taking the day off. We will be recording tomorrow on backstage. Uh... but I think that, tomorrow being the last concert has made everyone a bit sad. The others have been awfully quiet".
"Well, I think it's like that for most people after a concert. And of course, you can feel a bit sad it is ending tomorrow, I mean... you have a lot of fun on tour. I know it's tiring but all of you love to meet with your fans from different places".
"Definitely". He nodded. "You know, every time I look at the crowd from the stage... I feel so happy, so grateful, and so fulfilled". I could see his eyes shining through the screen. He really meant it.
"Hyung", I heard with a knock.
"Coming!" He said turning to the door. "I think everyone is gathering already".
"Just go, eat a lot, and take your time this afternoon".
"Yeah, there's a song I want to work on". I chuckled. I meant to rest but well... It was Chan we are talking about. "See you soon. Tell me when you are taking your flight".
"I will. Love you".
"Love you". He waved at me with a small but warm smile before ending the call.
Seriously, it always felt like I was daydreaming.
I finished packing everything after our call and waited for Lena to pick me up to give my grandparents a quick visit before heading to the airport. Those days in Berlin were already feeling distant. It was a weird feeling.
The moment I set foot in Seoul, I texted Chan and my grandparents. Grandpa was quick to call me, he asked me if I needed him to go and pick me up to the airport but I didn't; I just took a taxi and said I was going to visit them soon.
I don't remember what time I got home, but I remember I took a shower and slept like a log for God knows how long; when I woke up, it was already dawn. I fought myself to sleep a little bit more but I couldn't, so I just sat on my bed and started to work on my laptop for a few hours before falling asleep again.
I'm not sure how, but the second time I woke up, I was sick. Nothing serious, just a sore throat and a mild fever.
"Have you heard from Dylan?" Asked Richard while we checked the due dates of our writers and I informed the progress and other stuff.
