Ulsan was incredible and, for the first time, I saw my grandma enjoying herself.
I feel it was way prettier than Seoul; we visited Taehwagang National Garden, Ulsan Grand Park, and a temple I can't remember the name of. I was stunned at the sights, and Taehwa River was much prettier too.
I wished I could enjoy something like that with Chan also; it somewhat reminded me of when we went to Busan. I was seriously going to kidnap him from JYP, toss him into a car and take him somewhere nice for a few days.
The other day my brother uploaded a photo with my parents on Instagram with a "my parents' favorite child" note, so I uploaded a ton of photos with my grandpas and our trip writing "my grandparents with their favorite grandchild" beneath. It took him thirty minutes to call my grandma and complain about them taking me on a trip when he had never been taken to one with them. But my grandma roasted him like crazy; my grandpa and I enjoyed it so much that she told us to shut up.
My brother couldn't say anything though. After all, he never stayed for long as I was.
Monday came faster than I thought. And after a good breakfast, we were on the train on our way back to Seoul.
Grandpa was reading a book in front of me while Grandma was looking at a magazine. I was listening to music while reading the messages on the Whatsapp group for the Berlin concert. The fandom was planning some projects so I was taking a look at the ideas. It seemed the dress code was going to be black and white.
I was on that when Chan's text came in.
"That looks insane", he said commenting on a photo of our breakfast and the restaurant view I sent him earlier that morning. "I've been in meetings the whole morning", he sent with a crying emoji.
"Good thing you took your time and sleep a lot yesterday then".
"Well, it's not like I took my time for it", he laughed.
Chan told me that he knocked it off yesterday while scrolling down on TikTok. He fell asleep after lunch and woke up when Changbin went to ask him if he wanted to order dinner with him.
"Did you have lunch already?" It was a few minutes past 1 p.m.
"I will now". He sent me a photo of takeaway food on his desk at the studio. "I'm going to do a mukbag live".
"Oh! I will watch it!"
"No! Don't that!"
"But I want to see my boyfriend!" I sent it with a sad face. He sent a sigh, just what I imagine he would do. "Fine, I'll not". I wrote after a moment seeing he wasn't writing anything else. And just when I sent it, boom! He sent me a selfie.
"Will this do?" He asked laughing. It was a selfie of him with his beanie covering his whole face. I chuckled and felt my grandma's eyes on me. I looked up and there she was with that knowing look on her face. I just smiled at her.
"It will do". I wrote back with a flying kiss.
"What time are you getting back?"
"14:15. I will go right back to the apartment, I have stuff to do and prepare for a meeting".
"Are you going to be free around 7?"
"Maybe, I'm not sure. We have to see a lot of things at the meeting. I think I'll be getting finished at 7. Why?"
"Ah, I was thinking we could have dinner together. I don't have much time but I can make it".
"You're so... ah! I want to hug you right now". He sent this blushing emoji. "I'll text you the moment I'm done with it".
