Time seemed to never pass by even though I was playing and chatting with other Stays. I looked at my phone and pondered texting Chan, but I put it in my pocket again thinking he was probably on something else.
I kept talking with the others while snaking cookies some other girls sneaked in until my phone started to buzz.
"Are you already here?" Chan wrote. "I haven't heard from you the whole day".
"Hi! I just thought you were busy, and I've been running a little bit today. I'm already here, I'm waiting inside".
"Did you eat? There's still time for the concert".
"Yeah, I'm good. Don't worry". I wrote with a heart.
"Is it boring?"
"Not really, I've been talking with other fans here. How are you feeling?"
"Honestly? A bit anxious". He laughed.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I want it to start soon".
"Me too. Oh, by the way, everyone loves my banner".
"Why are you like this?" He sent with an emoji sighing. "What if I can't spot you?"
"You will", I laughed. "Wanna play something?"
"Game?"
"Of course".
"I'm in".
After checking out our options, we started to play a shooter on the phone. I put on my earphones and took some distance from the group of people, just in case.
We couldn't play much though, but we played enough. Neither of us was particularly good at it, so it was better to stop before one of us got frustrated.
A little while later, some people came running into the venue. The gates were open; I stuck to my place with the others and saw how the place started to fill in with people. It was my first time in the first row, I was happy but scared at the same time. The more time passed, the more squished I was against the fence. I had to talk to the girls behind me, but everything was good. They helped to get people to step back a little bit, and the guards were already on watch.
There was some music on while we waited for the concert to start, 20 minutes before the set time all you could hear was the people screaming fan chants and songs from the Kids though. I wished they could hear us from wherever they were.
The moment the music stopped and the lights went off, I forgot about everything and started screaming like crazy. I mean... who wouldn't? You could think I'd never casually seen them before by the way I started screaming. Now that I think about it, I wish Chan never see a video of me at one of their concerts.
Since it had been a while since they made a concert in Berlin, they had a little bit of everything on the song list, just like at the others, of course.
We were jumping and screaming while they performed Super Bowl, a song from one of his previous albums, when Seungmin came to our side and saw one of my banners, and went to Chan laughing. He was back soon after with him. Chan looked down and gave me a big smile; I waved at him and then pointed at my banner.
When I said I was going to bring a "big ass banner", I wasn't referring to a huge banner but its content. What was it? A zoomed picture of Chan's ass, a big ass banner. I took a screenshot from one of his fancams for it.
The corners of my lips couldn't lift more than they were. Chan pointed at the banner and then at himself asking if it was his, I nodded while laughing along with the Stays that were around me. He pressed his lips together and gave that judging face while shaking his head, about to laugh though. I felt fulfilled, the mission was a success.
