"But there's no need, why won't you let me get you on?" Chan complained over the phone.

"It's not fair! I'll buy it like everyone else" I said while I set up my laptop in the living room.

It was the ticket sale date for their upcoming tour. And, of course, I was going, at least to their concert in Berlin.

My plan was to visit my family for a week or two too since I wasn't sure I could make it for Christmas that year.

"You're so strict with these kinds of things..."

"Of course, I am! Ok, I am ready". I took a deep breath trying not to get anxious.

"I thought that, when you said you couldn't go out, was because you had to work, not buy a ticket".

"If I don't buy it now, I won't get one. It'll sell out".

"It won't sell out in a couple of minutes", he said as foolish as that sounded. "It'll take at least a few hours, if".

"What are you talking about? Have you forgotten how much you sold the last comeback? Everything will be sold out in minutes, 15 minutes max. I've been reading socials".

"I don't think it will be that fast".

"You're underestimating yourself".

"Am I?"

"One minute left, I'm sweating". I exclaimed drying my hands on my pants while Chan laughed through the phone.

Yes, I declined a last-minute date with him to get that damn precious ticket. There was no way I was not going to that concert. I mean... you never could go to their concerts that frequently just staying in the States.

Chan offered me a ticket from day one, but there was no way I could accept it. "She gets free stuff because she's his girlfriend", no. I didn't need nor want that privilege.

"Fuck! I'm in line! Two minutes wait". There was a knock in my stomach.

"Which one are you planning to get?"

"Option one is VIP with sound check".

"Really?" He sounded a bit surprised.

"Yeah, it might be a little awkward again, though". The VIP experience included Hi-touch, a group photo, and early access to the location. Honestly, what I wanted the most was the early access so I didn't have to wait in line for a whole day to get a spot in the front rows.

"Well, if you get it, please don't make it obvious with that smile of yours".

"What are you talking about? You should be careful with those eyes of you". It was a weird conversation to have but it eased my nerves quite a bit.

"Will we be ok?" He chuckled.

"Yeah, you're good at acting".

"What do you mean?" I was going to say something but the screen of my laptop changed.

"My turn!" I grabbed my card, ready to make it real quick. "They're gone! I said while checking the available tickets.

"Wha-what are gone?" Exclaimed Chan half confused, half excited.

"The ones I wanted. I'll go with option three", I sighed and checked out quickly.

"What's option three?"

"You should find out that day".

"You... not even a clue? The place is huge".

"I'll make a big-ass banner, don't worry". I said with at least five ideas in mind already.

"I'm getting scared. What have I signed for?"He said all dramatic.

"Bare with me, please". He sighed.

"I'll take responsibility". That made me cringe, what was up with him? Was he in a K-drama?

"By the way, sorry I couldn't join you for lunch". I apologized again. Even if we had just spent the last weekend together, there was no other free weekend for us in a while.

On Monday morning, the company announced the tour dates and the sales dates a couple of hours later. Social media was pure chaos the whole week. Chan even admitted enjoying how the fandom was freaking out while chatting on Kakao.

I had to get a ticket no matter what so I stayed home that Friday, and after that, I was meeting my grandparents and traveling to Ulsan for the entire weekend. I was getting back on Monday morning.

Chan was going to be busy the next week; it was the pre-tour week after all. And he was flying to London first thing on Monday morning after that weekend so the chances to see each other were really low. There was the chance we could meet until he made it to Berlin.

It almost made me want to buy a ticket for all the concerts just to see his face but that was impossible. He promised not to be so M.I.A and call me when he could though. That comforted me a little bit.

"It's fine, I understand", he said kindly.

"What did you order?"

"Nothing. I'll have lunch with I.N at the cafeteria; he said he was almost done".

"Oh! That's nice... Guess they replied fast this time on the group chat".

"The group chat? I called him. Seungmin-ah passed by earlier and told me I.N was practicing".

"Ah, I thought otherwise". I low-key laughed knowing how little he did check his messages. Everyone had already lost count of how many games he had lost for replying late... or never. Just two weeks ago he lost again and had to treat the boys to a barbecue.

"What are you going to eat?"

"Uhm... not sure. Maybe Banchan?" I said doing that old game of words with his name. He cracked up instantly.

"Oh my God, I wasn't expecting that".

"I know. It was a spur of the moment". I said a bit proud of myself. "Oh! Now that I remember, I wanted to ask you if you know how to rent a car here".

"Uh... I don't think I've ever rented one here". He said pensively. "Why? Do you need to rent one?"

"I might need to rent one soon". He told me that a little bit after the tour they were going to have a week off so I was planning something fun to do together.

"I can ask".

"Nah, it's ok. I will look online or ask my grandpa since I'll be with him these days".

"Hyung". I heard Jeongin's voice.

"I.N-ah!" Chan exclaimed happily. "Give me a sec, I'll be with you now".

"Eat well, don't overwork yourself". I said already knowing it was time to hang up.

"You too".

"I'll send you pictures later. I'll be getting to Ulsan around 6".

"Have fun".

"I will. Love you".

"Me too. Talk to you later".

"You better do!" He giggled.

"Got it. Bye"

"Bye".

I actually wanted to see him... But I had a lot of things ahead those days too, I was sure days were going to fly by.

I got up quickly and heated my lunch, made my bag after eating, and got ready to go thinking about making a lot of fun things to tell Chan later.
