Stray Kids visit in Paris was a whole thing. I thought that maybe because Hyunjin and Felix had visited previously, the press was going to be more chill. I was wrong. Nobody knew that they had a photoshoot over there until the press showed up and the tabloids said they were having a collaboration, likely, with Gucci.
I think it wasn't a huge problem but, definitely, a mishap according to Chan's comments about the issue.
The real problem came when they arrived in Brussels the day before the concert and there was a huge storm. We all thought that the concert was going to be canceled or postponed. It was like a bad joke. The members were saying that it was because of them, and everyone was losing hope. But 3 hours before the concert, it stopped raining and they were able to do the show.
I think it would have been really sad if they had to cancel it once again. I knew they had to cancel it years before.
Knowing they were just some hours from setting foot in Berlin, I couldn't stay still. I don't think Lena had her apartment so clean before, I became a cleaning machine. She had to take away the vacuum cleaner at some point.
"Hey, I'm on my way to the airport already". Chan wrote to me later that night.
"If you see me there, please ignore me". I joked.
"With a banner?"
"Big ass banner". He laughed. "You must be tired. How was the concert?" They were taking the flight to Berlin right after the concert in Brussels was done.
"Dunno. My body is tired, but my mind is full of energy".
"That sounds a lot like you". He sent that emoji with a drop on the side of its head.
"The encore was really fun. The phrases you taught me were really helpful".
"You're welcome", we spent some time on our last call practicing some phrases in German so he could say something over there as a detail for Belgium Stays.
"I think I will need new ones for the next concert though".
"I got you covered. In exchange, please, get a good rest tonight". The other day, he barely slept to play on his phone.
"You are at it again..." I knew that was a complaint.
"I'm seeing you tomorrow; I want you with the most sleeping hours possible".
"You still haven't told me where we are going".
"You will see tomorrow, just leave it to me. I'll tell your manager beforehand anyway". We got to go out after all but with the condition of one of his managers going with us. It might be a little uncomfortable, but I didn't mind. I was bringing Chan to walk around to see some non-touristic but really worthwhile places and to eat until he couldn't anymore.
"I hope it doesn't rain too much tomorrow". It had been raining in Berlin the last 2 days. It, supposedly, was going to stop at midday the next day but you were never a hundred percent sure with the forecast weather.
"It won't", I tried to be optimistic. "By the way, I have some places to go tomorrow but there's plenty of time... is there something you're looking forward to?" He left me on read a couple of minutes before answering.
"Hm... there's actually something".
"What it is? Just add it to the list".
"Ah, no need to add it to the list".
"Why? Let's do it, you want to so we should".
"Do... you?" He laughed and banged my head into my pillow all embarrassed. I mean... the first time I read it I interpreted it as if I was really going to do what he wanted, then... I read it the other way.
