Chapter 57

As our trip to Japan was short, we narrowed down the tour to just one day. We were visiting Fujisawa.

I wanted to go to many places, but since we had minimal time, Chan insisted on going there as he already knew the place, and would be a bit easier to move around. So we did.

We departed from Seoul to Tokyo on Friday evening, and then, took a train from Tokyo to Fujisawa. It took us about five hours, which I think is a very decent time for a weekend trip, and overseas. It felt even shorter because we played video games all the way.

We arrived at night at the hotel, and I have to admit Chan was right when we chose the hotel because the view was incredible from our room, but none of those two things stopped us from going for a walk as soon as we got there.

We wanted to go down to the beach but the nearest one was already closed, so we limited ourselves to a walk around the neighborhood.

"Look, there's a McDonald's", I poked Chan's arm pointing at the building.

"Oh! Is it open? I would have a burger right now". He said sobbing his stomach.

"Let's go!" I grabbed his hand and pulled him over there.

"Gosh, honestly, I was starving", he said later already munching one of his burgers.

"You could have said so". I offered him a fried potato. He slightly leaned over and took it from me with his teeth.

"Doesn't happen to you that sometimes you don't know you're hungry until you have the food in front of you?"

"Hm... not really".

"You wouldn't understand then", he said before taking another bite. I looked at him blameworthy.

"I'm going for more ketchup, do you want something?" I said motioning to stand up.

"I'm going", he swiftly stood up and went instead of me.

I watched him walk there and refill the packet, I had to stifle a sigh. I bet I had heart eyes looking at him, I wondered at what point I would stop drolling like a dumb for that guy. Hopefully, never.

He came back smiling at me, he had clearly noticed that I had my eyes on him.

"What is it?" He asked placing the packet on the table and sitting in front of me again.

"Nothing".

"You sure?"

"Yeah".

"Hm..." He glared at me.

"I was just admiring my boyfriend", I said propping my arm on the table and leaning my head on my hand looking at him.

"Ah, is that so?" He mimicked me.

"Yeah", I giggled seeing him staring at me now. We stared at each other for a few seconds before I adverted my eyes.

"Eat your burger".

"Eat your burger", I mocked him and his accent. He took the ketchup and put it away.

"It's mine".

"You're such a child", I rolled my eyes.

"You're such a child", he mocked me rolling his eyes as well before laughing and pushing the ketchup closer again.

We finished our late dinner teasing each other and went back to the hotel after walking around a little bit more.

Our tour on Saturday started at Kugenuma Kaigan Beach. Of course, we took photos at the same spot and angle as in the final scene of Slam Dunk. Then, we went to Tsujido Kaigan beach, had breakfast, and took a couple more photos. And, as if he couldn't wait longer, he took our break to eat to write on Bubble. He started teasing Stay about him being somewhere he had lots of fun some time ago; I told him to stop because what if they found out? He looked somewhat unbothered though.
