Another day, another grueling time in classes at CarmU. Gage walked the halls with the thought of Oddey going on a date with a guy who really did trouble him.

He looked back on the night of the double date when he deliberately brought Courtney. He remembered the hurt Oddey felt at that time, and ironically, Gage had that same pain that his Juliet was being escorted by Paris.

Still very bummed about it, he did not feel like talking to her. In the auditorium, the balcony was finally fixed without spending any more money to buy new materials thanks to the architect student's advice.

He watched how Oddey finally felt this pride for herself and her team for a job well done as she looked over to the fixed set. Gage was also very proud, yet his glum clouded his demeanor towards her. "So what do you think of the new balcony?" she said to him.

"It's nice," Gage responded. He tried to be civil and positive, yet it was obvious that he was not.

The girl could sense his vibe was off. "It's all thanks to your idea," she reminded him. "I wouldn't come up with anything better without you."

"Glad I can help. Make sure no one falls over it," He responded with a light nod and a small smile, though his eyes told a different story. "I uhm... I need to rehearse with the others."

Then the guy just walked away, leaving Oddey confused by his behavior. "Oh, okay," she muttered to herself and went to her fellow set designers to talk about their next course of action.

----

However, when the Juliet glanced over at Gage again, he caught him looking away in a flash from also gazing at her and just acted like he didn't by conversing with his castmates.

When it was over, Oddey found it weird that her Romeo just left without saying anything to her like he always did. She thought that maybe he was just having a bad day and let him be since she knew that he would approach her if something was troubling him.

Later, Oddey was having lunch with her best friend by the campus garden and confided to her about Gage. "He was kinda giving me the cold shoulder. It was like talking to me was an obligation," the confused Juliet voiced. "Maybe he's having a problem."

"Maybe," Rita said while chewing on a noodle. "I wouldn't worry about it. What if he's, you know, jealous?"

"Jealous? Over what?"

"I think your question is 'to who'?"

"Fine," Oddey exasperated. "To who?"

"To the guy who's going with you tonight to the movie convention," Her Bestie answered.

"Pfft... no way."

"Yes, way. Come on, think about it. He's upset after Felix told you that you're going with Jerry right in front of him."

The art student did consider it. "Well, it's not like it matters. Gage and I are not meant to be anyway."

Rita frowned at that. "Come on, let's just finish eating, so we can start styling our hair for tonight."

"Right," Oddey beamed. However, she could still not able to shake off her thoughts about Gage.

----

It was nighttime. Gage was in the campus garden accompanying Felix, who was wearing a minimal cozy chic style, to wait for the girls. "You clean up nicely," Gage complimented his buddy.

"Thanks," Felix replied. "I guess you can see why I didn't invite you."

"Yeah, yeah, I'll be playing some video games or probably gonna watch current-era movies on Netflix with sounds and colors the moment you guys leave."
