51:Awkward Highs

Jaspers POV

Well this is incredibly awkward.

Maddie just gave me a prom proposel and a cheesy one at that, litteraly the word Prom? was spell out in this cheesy chip deep. She texted me a few hours ago and asked me if I wanted to meet her for lunch and of course I said yea, I didn't have any idea that she was goimg to ask me to prom, Oh my gosh what do I say I already asked my penpal to prom but I dont want to hurt her feelings. She is just starring at me waiting for me to answer and here I am sitting here with my mouth poped open like a fish on land and it does not help that Jojo is making kissie faces while Karson is forcing her finger down her troat in order to make these really disturbing gagging noises. Oh wait she actually choked on her finger and is now gagging for real, serves her right but I still feel bad for her so I decided to lend her my water which she hurridly gulps down. I look back at Maddie and she looms like shes about to cry which is probably dealing with the matter that it's been five minutes and I still haven't answered her proposal. So I take one big gulp of air and open my mouth to speak "It would be my honner" she gives out a squel and then starts jumping and clapping which causes a scene by the way but I guess she happy so yeah. I turn around just in time to see Karson pulling up a couple of chairs at mine and Maddies table, plops down with Jojo following behind, and then taking out a three pain pills and lets them slide down her throat. "You know im starting to think you have an addiction to those things" I say genuinely concerned. "what are you talking about Jasper thats what the bottle says to take" she replies looking confused "um no it says take two every twelve hours" I answer her

"Ohh, stupid doctors writing" I had to chuckle at that because it was the honnest truth. Just at that moment me and Karson locked eyes and just stared at each other and then I realised she had some of the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. An interuption my Maddie clearimg her troat brought Karson and I back to reality. "well lets eat" Karson shouts loudly. Ten minutes later and those pills are seriously kicking in. Karson litteraly just threw watter on Maddie.

Five minutes ealier

I was telling a joke which went like a little like this "Ok so im sitting in class and I see this money sign come out of no where, what do I say to it" everyone besides Karson answers with "Idk what" Karson just kind answeres with "ughh please no" then I finished the joke with "hey you give me all you money" Jojo looked like she didn't no to laugh or insult me on how lame my joke was, Karson was shaking her head in dissapointment and Maddie was full on laughing and then Out of nowhere water comes flying towards Maddie.

Current time

"Oh my gosh I cant believe you did that" Maddie belts out at Karson "thats no the only thing im willing to do if you keep talking" Karson says in an overly calm voice. I decided to step in at that moment. we decided that I would take Karson and jojo home since they both seem to be high, then Karson can picj her car in the morning and I will just call Maddie when I get home.

So When we got to Karsons I had to go take a leak then by the time I got out Karson and Jojo were fighting over what to watch Karson ended up winning the fuss and picked the black lake. Jojo then begged me to stay "Jasper are you going to stay for a while with us" "oh no I dont think I can" "please please stay" "ummm" "pweeese" "ah ok ok"

So I decided to stay for a while and watch this movie with them.

oh my word this is the stupidest movie I have ever watched in my life, like for real these characters are so dumb and the crockadile is so unreal. Man am I glad that movie is over, Jojo is now asleep and me and karson are sitting on the couch talking about instruments. She asked me if I play anything so I told her I can play guitar "So play me a song"

"I dont have my guitar" I tell her "here you can use mine" well this is great "can you sing" "no, not right now anyway my throat is sore" "umm ok so i'll make you a deal if play ill sing" "ok deal what do you want me to play"

"umm how about four five seconds" "ok" So I started strumimg the notes on the strings and it wasn't lomg until her voice was filling the room. Her voice is absolutley beatuiful

througjt the whole song we were looking deeply into eachothers eyes. Just then the song was over and I notice that she was leaning in, so I staryed leaning in aswell. You can guess what happened next.. well go on guess... Wrong.

just as our lips almost touched Jojo comes running in yelling about a monster or somethimg I think she had a dream but I was kinda zoned out to be honnest with you. "um well im just going to be going" I announce standing up "uh yeah ok yeah uh bye" "yeah um yeah bye" with those being our last exchamgimg words I left heading home. When I got home mom and dad questioned my where abouts and told them I was at James, dont really know why I lied but I did, after that I ate and headed upstairs to talk tp clair before gping to bed. When bed time came I tried to go to bed but all O could think about was what posessed me to want to kiss Karson, that was the last thing in my mind when I drifted off to bed.
