JULIANNA WAS CHILLING behind the counter of Toretto's Market & Cafe with Mia. Jules looked up from her magazine to see Brian's red truck parking. "Right on time." She mumbled, closing the book.
"Blondie's walking in." Mia told Jules. Jules lifted her head to face Brian. "Tuna on white. No crust? Right?" She walked closer to him. "I don't know. How is it?" Brian asked, giving Jules a smile.
Jules reciprocated the smile. "Listen, Blondie, every day for the last three weeks you've been comin' in here and you've been askin' me how the tuna is." Jules paused, placing both her hands on the counter.
"Now it was crappy yesterday, it was crappy the day before, and guess what? Hasn't change." Jules said, backing away. "I'll have the tuna." Brian answered. "No crust?" Mia asked, walking away to make his sandwich. "No crust," he confirmed.
Dom got up from the back room and went to grab a beer. Jules turned to see Dom stop, and he looked behind her. Turning her head back, she saw Brian staring at Dom. "Everything alright?" She asked her older brother, and Dom looked down at her, nodding before he walked away.
Jules turned around, watching Mia give Brian his sandwich, before hearing the roars of cars coming closer, parking into spots outside the shop. In walked Letty, Leon, Vince, and Jesse. Vince had his usual scowl as he glared at Brian.
"What's up, guys?" Jules asked, looking at the four racers. "Good, how you doin', angel?" Letty said, leaning over to the counter to give Jules a kiss on the cheek.
Turning away from Letty, Jules watched along with Mia, Brian, and Vince, who are having a staredown. "Vince. Vince!" Mia shouted, making Vince turn his head toward the two girls.
"Can we get you anything?" Jules asked, fed up with Vince's behaviour. "You look good; you both do." He responded. Jules rolled her eyes at Vince, crossing her arms as she watched Brian get up.
"Well, thanks a lot, Jules; you too, Mia. See you tomorrow." Brian said, giving the girls a smile before dropping money on the counter. Vince slammed his fist down, calling out to Brian. "Try Fatburger from now on. You can get yourself a double cheese with fries for $2.95, jackass."
"I like the tuna here." Brian responded, walking to his car. "Bullshit, asshole. No one likes the tuna here." Vince barked, catching up with Brian and pushed him into his truck.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Jules mumbled while watching the two men fight like boys. "Jesus Christ, Dom. Would you get out there, please?" Mia begged, and when Dom didn't turn around, Mia turned to Jules. "You want me to go out there, Dom?" Jules taunted, knowing Dom wouldn't let her.
Dom got out of his chair and checked out the fight. "What'd you put in the sandwich?" He asked his younger sisters. "Real funny." Jules responded sarcastically, tilting her head. Dom took the hint, walking over to the fight with Letty, Leon, and Jesse following behind.
Dom's words to Brian were muffled; the only thing Jules could hear was how Brian was now fired from Harry's. "Bye, bye, Blondie." Jules whispered to herself.
