JULES SAT IN A COURTHOUSE with both Mia and Brian at her side as she watched her brothers' trail. "All rise." The judge said, slamming his gavel down a few times. "Please be seated." They said when the judge took his place.
Jules twiddled with her fingers as she watched, knowing there was now fighting chance. Brian saw the girl's nerves and slowly placed his hand into heres, tightening it every so often so she knew he was there with her.
"Please rise, Mr. Toretto." The judge said as Dom stood. "I've listened to the testimony and taken into special consideration Agent O'Conners appeal of clemency on behalf of Mr. Toretto. That his actions directly resulted in the apprehension of known drug trafficker Arturo Braga." The judge explained.
"However, this judiciary finds that one right does not make up for a lifetime's worth of wrongs." The judge stated as a tear slipped from both girls' eyes and Brian's body grew rigid with frustration.
"And as such, I find that I am forced to level the maximum sentence under California law." With the judge's words, Brian had to leave feeling anger consume his body.
"Dominic Toretto, you are hereby sentenced to serve 25 years to life at the Lompoc maximum security prison system without the possibility of early parole. This court is adjourned." The gavel slammed as Jules let out a choked sob. "We're getting him back." She said, hugging Mia with a smirk.
Four cars followed the bus slowly, throwing it off balance. "Oopsies."
