THE FOLLOWING NIGHT JULES
found herself standing side by side with Brian and her brother. It felt as if the previous night had never happened. Dom and Brian were able to get a deal with Braga and as much as she didn't want to be there, she was.

"Well, the good news is, when we get this guy, you both walk out of here a free man." Brian said. "Jules maybe. Is that what they told you?" Dom asked, knowing Brian would pull strings to make sure no harm came to Julianna.

"Yeah, that's the deal." Brian responded. "You still put milk and cookies out for Santa Claus?" Dom joked, causing Jules to let out a breathy laugh as she watched multiple cars pull up.

"Here." Brian held up a key to Jules. "In case things go shitty." He explained as she reluctantly took the key. Jules watched as Fenix held a gun in his hand, charging towards the three. "Oye! You dropped something." "Dom." Jules said, putting a hand on his arm as Campos dealt with Fenix.

Campos walked up to the three, stopping in front of Dom. "He's harmless. Don't worry about him." Campos told Dom. "And he's really sorry about Letty." Jules' hands clenched at her sides as she started down Fênix, feeling Brian's presence falter.

"You mean the stuff that used to be in here, right?" Brian asked, opening what used to be a filled case. "Well, you'll see it when we see Braga." Brian closed the case, walking back to where Jules was. "That was the deal."

"No worries. Braga keeps his words." Campos said, looking at the three. An older man stepped out of the car with a duffle bag before dropping it at their feet.

"Two million. You get the rest when I get my property." The man Jules assumed was Braga said. "I got a question for you. Were you wearing pink when you were clawing your way out of el barrio?" Jules watched the man's face change to fear at Brian's words.

"Oh shit," she mumbled. "So, who's gonna say it, cause we're all thinking it." Jules spoke with an amused smirk. "He ain't Braga." Dom answered as the FBI started messing shit up again. "Get down!" Brian yelled, pulling Jules close to him. "You need to get outta here." Brian told the two siblings.

Jules watched her brother as he viewed the scene in front of him. "Dom!" She yelled, putting the key into his hand as he went after Gisele, who almost got ran over by Campos and Fênix. "You said you got me right." She said to Brian.

The next day Brian sat in his chair at the station in front of higher ups, going through the previous night. "He was under your nose the whole time. Now Braga escaped. Toretto's heading south, probably long across the border by now. Do you have any idea the kind of trouble you're in, O'Conner?"

"I was doing my job." Brian answered, unfazed. "He ain't the first bad guy you help escape the law's grasp." The guy sneered. "As of now, you're being taken off of active duty, until this house can mount a formal inquiry.

"What about Julianna?" Brian asked. "As of now, Ms. Toretto won't be charged for this. You asked for her to be protected. Her not running with her brother is the smartest thing she could've done. For the future, that's up to her." The agent said walking out, making Brian's body fill with relief.
