THE FOUR FUGITIVES FOUND
themselves exiting a sewer tunnel with broken bars. "They're gonna be looking for the four of us together now. We need to split up." Dom announced, looking at the three.

"You three head south. I'll lead them away?" Dom explained.

"No." "Screw that." Mia and Jules answered at the same time.

"Dom's right." Brian added, looking at Jules, who gave him a look.

"Look how lucky we just got. What happens next time? We have no choice but to split up." Jules looked at Brian as he spoke, with so much protectiveness in his eyes. It made Jules' heart flutter at the thought of their baby always being surrounded by loving arms.

"I'm pregnant, you idiots." Jules said as both men's eyes softened and Mia held a proud smile. Jules turned to Dom. "I've lost my family too many times and I refuse to live it again."

Brian took a step forward, grabbing onto Jules' waist, pulling her closer. "Are you kidding me?"

"Am I one for jokes, blondie?" Jules said with a smirk as Brian leaned down, pressing their lips together before pulling her into a warm embrace.

"There's a mini you and me in there." He whispered to her, placing a kiss under her jaw.

"Let's pray it's a mini me." Jules joked as Brian let out a breathy laugh, pulling away with Jules' hands still wrapped around his neck.

"I'm not going anywhere," Brian confirmed.

"Yeah?" Jules said softly as Brian nodded.

"I go where you guys go," Mia told them as Jules hugged her.

When the pair pulled back, Jules walked up towards Dom. Jules was not one to hide behind others when it came to confronting her brother.

Sure, she had Jesse, Leon, Letty, and even Vince to back her up from time to time, but she was the only one to actually get through to him by only saying it once.

"Dom? Promise me we stick together." Jules said as Dom slowly turned to face her.

"I promise." He confirmed, walking up to Jules and wrapping her in his arms as Brian and Mia watched.

Dom pulled back, looking at the three in front of him. "Our family just got bigger." He chuckled.

Later that night, the four were able to find a place where they could stay the night. Jules fell asleep on an uncomfortable chair while Mia sat on the ground beside her, both wrapped up in blankets.

"Hey, Dom. What do you remember about your father?" Brian asked as he leaned against the balcony.

"My father. He used to, uh, he used to have a barbecue every Sunday after church. For anybody in the neighbourhood." Dom explained.

"If you didn't go to church, you didn't get any barbecue. Every single day he was in the shop, and every single night, he was at the kitchen table with Mia, helping her with her homework. Even after she went to sleep, he'd stay up for a few more hours, so he could learn the next chapter and help her the next day." Dom added, as Brian chuckled.

"And Jules? What was her relationship like with him?" Brian asked.

Dom let out a low chuckle. "When Jules was a kid, she and my dad were inseparable. It wasn't until she became a teenager."

"She didn't want anything to do with us. She was always with the group. Our dad tried everything to get her to talk. It wasn't until she got into her first racing accident." Dom said as Brian nodded.

"It was late and instead of going to a hospital, she hid in the garage. When my dad found her, she broke down and he stayed with her the whole night. True father-daughter bond." Dom finished, smiling at the memory.

"That's just it. I don't remember shit about my dad. I don't remember him yelling. I don't remember him smiling. To be honest with you, I don't even remember what the hell he looked like. I don't remember. He was just never there." Brian expressed.

"You ain't gonna be like that, Brian. When Jules ran from you, you still followed, didn't you?" Dom said as he looked into the room where his sisters slept.

"Can't keep running', Dom. We gotta get out. We gotta get out now," Brian stated.

"You're right. Here's how we're gonna do it." Dom said, holding the chip they found in the car. "We're gonna use this. We're gonna do one last job. We're gonna take all of Reyes' money, every dime of it, and disappear. Forever."

"New passport, new lives, with no more lookin' over our shoulder. And we're just gonna buy our freedom," Brian added.

"That's right." Dom confirmed.

"You realize we're talkin' about goin' up against the most powerful guy in all of Rio?" Brian asked.

"Yes, we are." Dom agreed.

"Then we're gonna need a team."
