FIVE YEARS. FIVE YEARS SINCE JULES
and Brian last had contact.

Jules stuck to her word and went home to Mia, and restarted her life once again. It had been five years since Jules took a flight home and told Mia everything except for federal stuff. Mia felt bad for her sister when she heard the stories, but she understood how it could never be.

When Jules got home, Mia gave her strict instructions to not call or even contact Dom, who was in the Dominican Republic, for his safety. It hurt her, but she understood. He was living his life, and she was living hers.

Jules thought that when she returned she'd feel dread after everything that went on and she most certainly was ready to have to walk past the spot where Jesse and her were shot, but she did it and it took a long time for her to heal.

For the first time in Jules' five years of being back, she finally felt a sense of relief and she certainly loved it. Jules walked away from racing and didn't look back at even if she missed it some days.

Jules was up in her room, making her bed, and getting ready for the day. She was wearing plain jeans and a light grey sweater and once she was done; she headed downstairs to where Mia was.

In the past years, Mia had grown up. Although Jules continued to call her little M, she sure didn't look like it. Her hair had grown out a now she had bangs. "Morning little M." Jules greeted, walking into the kitchen and poured herself a cup of coffee. Jules eyed Mia weirdly when she didn't answer.

"Mia." she called out softly, putting a hand on her sister's shoulder. Mia turned over with teary eyes. "M," Jules said worriedly, while pulling her into a tight hug. "What happened?" She asked, running her hand through Mia's dark hair.

"It's Letty." Mia said, pulling back from Jules. "She's dead, murdered." Jules froze. Everything around her stopped as she heard Mia call out for her.

"Have you called Dom?" Jules asked, holding in tears. Mia felt her heart break at how Jules registered the news. Mia shook her head. "I'll do it." Jules swallowed, heading for the home phone.

Jules heard Mia sniffle before going to her room. Jules sighed, leaning against the wall. Lefty was gone. The one girl who would visit secretly and call once in a while was dead.

Another one Jules lost. Tears silently fell from her eyes as she picked up the phone alone with a paper with Dom's info. "Dom." She said into the phone.

"Jules, I told Mia that you can't call me here." He said back. Jules bit her lip from letting out a sob. "Dom, it's Letty. She's been murdered." Jules said in a shaky voice, ignoring his previous statement.

A couple of weeks after, came the funeral. Mia forced her to go. It was different. With Jesse, she ran. With Letty, all she could do was to stay, and she didn't want to leave.

The service was beautiful; it was a sunny day and Letty would've loved it. Dom didn't show up or called back like she told him. After the funeral, Jules helped Mia with anything.

All she knew was that they needed each other right now. Jules carried one of the last boxes with Mia to the garage. It was dark, but Jules could see the shadow of Dom walking forward. "Holy shit." She whispered, placing the box down and hugging her brother along with Mia.

"I told you not to come." Jules said, falling out of the embrace. "They're staking the place out. If they find you..." "They won't." He said like he already knew it wasn't safe. "Come on. Look at you two." Jules gave Dom a soft smile.

Dom's eyes trailed from his sisters to around the garage to the Charger." "Letty wouldn't let them junk it." Mia said as Dom got closer to it. "Even though it is a goddamn curse." Jules sneered.

"When she got back, she was always in here, working on it day and night. It was weird. It was like she knew you were coming back." Mia said with a quiet sniffle. "I wanna see the crash site." Dom said.

Jules sighed, knowing the two girls wouldn't be able to stop him. "I'll take him." Jules said, pulling her keys from her pocket and handing them to Dom. "Be safe, M." she told her sister before getting in the car. The ride was silent but effective.

"It's straight ahead." Jules said, leaning her side into the car as she watched Dom walk forward and scan the area. Jules tried to see what Dom knelt down for, but she knew whatever he saw was crucial to Letty's death.

The siblings didn't stay long, and as Dom drove Jules home; he stopped two blocks away for his safety. Jules sighed, "you found something back there." "There were burn marks on the ground. The kind that could only be caused by nitro meth. There's only one guy in L.A. that sells that." Dom explains.

"Nothing you can do is gonna bring her back, Dom. Lefty would want you to let it go. But we can't, we all know it. I'll help as much as I can," Jules said, tapping her brother's shoulder before exiting the car.

As Jules walked, she thought about how she signed herself up for even more crazy shit, as that a clean record would soon change.

But if she needed closure, she'd get it.

As she made her way to the house, two black cars stopped beside her. She clutched her jacket tight as they talked to her. "Miss Toretto. I'm Michael Stasiak, FBI. Let you and I have a chat." The man said as he and his partner cornered her.

Jules nodded reluctantly before looking at the house, specifically Mia's room, where the light was off. At least she's safe.
