IT DIDN'T TAKE THAT MUCH convincing for Jules to join the boys. Despite the amount of safety warnings given she eventually got her way, reminding them she'd never leave their sight. Well, Brian's sight.
Dom drove his charger through the crowd with Brian following behind, driving Jules' car. As Dom stopped in front of them, Brian pulled up beside, parking. He looked out the window, admiring the views.
"Watch yourself, blondie." Jules scolded, jealousy lacing her voice.
The man looked at her with a big grin, leaning closer to her. "You're all I need, mama." He told her. The new nickname struck through Jules' body. She liked it. Way too much.
Jules dropped her pout and turned it into a smile as she pressed her lips to Brian's. He gasped, letting the girl's tongue find the inside of his mouth. He didn't expect such a bold move, but he wasn't complaining.
When Jules pulled away, she saw some girls looking in the car with sheer disgust written on their faces. A smirk fixed itself on Jules' lips and as Brian got out of the car, he was confused by the looks he received.
He glanced at Jules, who stood on the other side observing the crowd. "I see what you did there." He pointed at her, shaking his head as he laughed.
Jules shrugged her shoulders, acting oblivious as she followed behind her brother. The three racers walked down a path, looking at every engine each car offered, scoping for the fastest one.
"Or that." Brian pointed to a blue Porsche 911 (996) GT3 RS. "How about that? All motor, no tuning issues. I always wanted one of those."
"Your Nissan does you just fine." Jules commented, patting her boyfriend's arm.
The three stopped in front of the car, checking it out. "Held the record on the Avenida, three years running." A guy announced, coming forth.
"Droga, mano. You got a lot of balls to bring your problems here, Toretto. Not to mention your sister and a cop." The guy nodded his head to Brian and Jules.
Brian wrapped an arm around Jules protectively. "Yeah, we can keep that on the low." Brian told him, sincerely.
"Word on the street is that a lot of people are looking for you three." He announced, causing murmurs. "What? You didn't think we'd recognize you?"
Jules tilted her head, giving him a look that said 'are you stupid'. "No, we were kind of counting on it." Dom answered before she could.
"That little coupe may run the streets around here, but that monster has never seen a set of taillights. Ever." Dom turned and pointed to his car with a smirk.
"Well, she's about to." The guy answered, cockily. "O passeio do Dominic Toretto na minha garagem. Isso sim... vai ser um belo troféu." (Dominic Toretto's ride in my garage. Now that... will be a nice trophy.)
"Let's go, legend." The guy mocked, making both boys look at each other, chuckling. "Car for car."
"Car for car?" Dom repeated.
"You want it? Come and get it."
Jules, Brian, and Dom all returned to the warehouse in different cars. Jules drove inside in her Honda, Dom in his Charger, and Brian got all the fun in the Porsche.
Rome laughed loudly as the three exited their cars. "Really? Where did you get that from? Papa, Smurf?" He joked.
Jules rolled her eyes, walking up the steps towards Mia and Han. "I hope he crashes." Jules mutters, feeling both gazes on her. "What?"
"Okay, O'Conner, give it your best shot." Dom announced into the walkie talkie as his voice echoed through the speakers.
While the three were gone, the others took the time mapping out the warehouse to have a similar layout of the vault area. As Brian drove through the course, Jules and Mia watched the laptop security cameras, seeing if he'd get caught.
When Brian finished, he drifted the car and stopped, then got out. "How was that one?" He asked.
"Got you from all angles." Jules answered, wincing a little as Brian shut his door. "Got a pretty clear view of it." She added as Brian walked up the stairs.
"Man, I was milking the hell out of that thing, too." Brian told Dom.
"We're going to need a faster car." Jules' brother declared.
All racers had a shot at racing every car they had or won through racing, but nothing could get past the cameras, frustrating Brian.
On Santos' turn, he made his turn too quickly, crashing into the corner of the wall. All the racers 'oohed' and laughed. "That's exactly why your ass ain't been driving." Rome stated.
Then it was Gisele and her timing was not only better, but you could argue it was the best they'd seen all day. Jules could've sworn she saw Han's eyes turn into hearts as he watched the girl get out of the car.
"That was real solid work." Roman praised. "I think Camera 3 still caught you, though."
Gisele nodded. "Let's do it again."
After many more races, the group moved on to something that could actually get done. Brian unscrewed bolts from a big package, and as the wooden crate door came off, it revealed the replica of the vault.
"That's the piggy bank you ordered," Tego told Tej, pointing at the vault as Roman tore the plastic covering apart..
"You're kidding me. Where in the hell did y'all get one of these?" Tej asked.
"Well, we had a life before you met us," Han answered. Jules stifled a laugh, crossing her arms over her chest. She wondered how many more times she'd hear that exact line.
"All right, I'll get to work on the electronic tumbler, but there's still another problem." Tej walked up to the vault pointing at the screen decipher code. "Palm scanner. And without Reyes' handprint, Houdini himself couldn't open this bitch."
"How do you know it's Reyes' handprint?" Tego asked.
"You got a hundred million in a safe. You going to put somebody else's handprint on it?" Tej answered bluntly.
Santos and Tego started speaking in Spanish, bad-mouthing each other for asking stupid questions. The group couldn't help but laugh at them.
"How are we supposed to get Reyes' handprint?" Rome asked from beside Han.
"Han." Dom called. The group snapped their heads upward to where Dom stood. "You're up."
Hand sighed, backing away from the group. "Sure. Nothing like the easy stuff." He answered, brushing past Gisele.
Gisele's head followed his trail, anticipation filling her eyes. "Let's go." She announced, meeting his steps. "I'll drive."
