JULES STOOD AT THE TOP OF A building with Tej as they watched the men from above. Jules held the walkie talkie in her hand as Tej looked down below with binoculars.
Tej gave her a thumbs up as she pushed the button and spoke into the walkie. "We got eyes on five." It was now Brian and Doms turn to follow their designated car.
Jules was lucky enough to even be joining the group. Brian and Dom tried to get her to stay with Mia but agreed only is she's stay with Tej since he'd be farthest from any harm.
"Shit, Jules come look at this." Tej cursed, handing the binoculars to Jules. "I know y'all said they were consolidatin' the money somewhere, but y'all ain't gonna believe this." Tej said into the walkie as Jules watched the cars drive into a police station.
After the rest of the team debriefed about the money going into a police station, they all met back at the warehouse where Jules, Mia and Tej had been working.
"You know what the beauty of public offices is?" Jules asked, placing a rolled up paper on the table, unraveling it. "Public records." She answered.
"And this is where he's keeping the money. The vault in the evidence room." Brian said, pointing at a section on the paper. "Um, uh, yeah. Can I get everyone's attention, right here, for a second." Tej spoke, making everyone look at him.
"We're talkin' about breaking in to a police station. Is anyone listening to those words? Anybody? Po po? Five-0? One time. People we don't like." Tej ranted.
"You know, police stations are designed to keep people in, not out." Han pointed out, with his arms crossed against his chest. "That's why it's a stealth mission. We'll be in and out before they even know we were there." Brian explained as Jules nodded.
"Well, we'll need to get eyes in there. At least to find out the make and model of that vault." Dom added. "So the vault, and then, so, it's crazy." Roman muttered to himself.
"Who's supposed to, uh, do all this?" Roman asked. Jules, Dom, Brian, and Mia all looked at each other before smirking at Roman. "That would be you, hotshot." Jules smirked, watching his face drop.
"What-what do you mean? Why me?" Rome asked with a slight offended tone. Jules tapped her chin. "Hmm, let's think." "'Cause you got the biggest mouth." Brian answered. "That's for damn sure." Tej whispered making Jules giggle.
Once they got Roman all suited up and ready to go, Brian, Jules, and Tej all piled up in a van with computers set up waiting for the package to be delivered. "How ya feeling, baby?" Brian whispered in her ear.
"Been better. Throwing up sucks." She whispered back looking at Tej to make sure he didn't hear. In all honesty, Jules hated throwing up and everything about it, but this is what you get for getting pregnant.
Brian placed a light kiss to the side of her head. "You're doing great, mama." He smiled. The couple pulled apart at the sound of the door opening and Roman coming in, taking a seat behind Jules and Brian, poking his head in between them.
"It's done. See, I think I make a better special agent than you ever did." Roman laughed, looking between the couple.
Brian tilted his body, looking at his friend. "Well, that depends on how you define 'special.'" Brian reached his hand up, tapping Roman's head as the man swatted him away.
"Come on, now. Let's see what we got. Not funny." Tej muttered, playing with his hand made control.
The four in the van watched the screen displaying what the camera on Tej's car showed. "You good there, Tej?" Jules asked, seeing as the man couldn't control the car.
"Dawg, you still can't drive." Roman added as Tej crashed the car into a cart, shaking the screen. "Now, I see why you're always getting into accidents. You can't even drive a damn remote control car."
"I'm going to need you to shut up right now," Tej demanded, trying to keep his focus.
"Roman, shut up." Jules raised her eyebrows, looking back at the defensive man.
"Strap him in his safety belt, man." Tej completed, making the O'Conner man hide a chuckle. Slowly, Tej gained a little more control of the toy car, maneuvering it easily.
"Go left. It looks like something right over to the left. What is that?" Roman pointed out, wiggling his finger between the couple's faces.
Tej perfectly lined up the car with what Roman pointed out. "Bingo." He declared as they all stared at the vault on screen.
"What is that, six-by-six?" Brian asked as Tej zoomed the camera lens to a wider angle.
"Eight-by-twelve," Roman guessed.
"Seven-by-twelve," Tej corrected. "Fitted with 18-inch-thick steel reinforced walls with an insulated copper core to protect against thermal lance. A Class-3 electronic lock with a surefire Griffin re-tumbler and a biometric palm scanner. Ten tons of top-of-the-line security."
Brian looked at his girlfriend and Roman, impressed but also scared because all the big words Tej threw out there made it seem impossible to get this vault opened.
"Do I wanna know how you know all that?" Brian asked, this time impressed.
"I had a life before you knew me, O'Conner. Let's just leave it at that, all right?" Tej answered. "She is a beauty, though, man."
"A 'beauty' as in 'good'?" Roman asked, his voice no longer in a teasing or joking tone.
"'Beauty' as in, she's going to start off playing hard to get. Then, no matter how much I caress her, no matter how much I love her, in the end, she still ain't going to give up that ass," Tej explained to them in simpler terms.
Jules's face scrunched in disgust as the men laughed. "Pervs." She commented, giving Brian a serious look.
The four racers took off in the van, meeting back at the warehouse with the rest of the group. They waited for Santos and Tego to do their part.
"Got it. We got it!" Mia called as the screen flickered on four security cameras.
"Yeah, we're looking at four cameras." Brian declared, coming up behind Jules as she sat next to Mia.
"Yo, that's some high-end shit, too. Marker optics. Hundred-degree field-of-view. Ten seconds oscillation." Han stated.
"Yeah, that's a narrow window, man." Brian added.
Jules nodded in agreement. "We'd need to boost horsepower and NOS levels."
"Can't we just tap in and replace the image?" Gisele suggested.
"Nah, it's hooked into a digital sync. They'd know we were in the system. The best we can do is peek." Tej replied.
"We're gonna need some real fast cars to get through this," Roman said, his words similar to Jules' previous ones.
"Not just fast." Han declared. "You got a hard right and a hairpin. We're gonna need something agile."
"You guys mock up a track." Dom instructed. "O'Conner." Brian turned his head, looking at the man. "Let's go get some cars."
"Nice." Brian muttered with a smirk, placing a delicate kiss on Jules's head.
Jules pouted before a bright idea reached her head. She stood up abruptly and grabbed her leather jacket. "I'm coming." She announced, swiping the keys from the table and unlocking her Royal blue 2000 Honda s2000.
