THE NEXT DAY JULES FOUND
herself in Mexico being transported with her car in a truck. "Welcome to Mexico, boys, ladies." Gisele said, standing in the centre as she talked.

"There are helicopters and surveillance cameras that scan for heat signatures at the border. But there are blind spots that I can guide you through via satellite. There can be no margin of error, so you must follow my every direction. Any questions?" Gisele explained.

Jules crossed her arms while leaning on her car, not having anything to say. "I thought Fênix was gonna be here." Her brother stated. "He'll meet you out there," Gisele answered, putting coordinates in the GPS.

"All right, everybody, sync up." Jules pulled out her GPS, looking at the directions. Jules followed all the other cars while listening to Gisele guide them. "Hurry it up. You guys have been tagged." She said through comms.

"Of course we have!" Jules exclaimed, putting her foot on the gas as Dom broke formation and Brian trailed behind her. They soon made it to the tunnels, with Giselle warning them of their time. "This chick has serious faith issues." Jules mumbled as she parked beside Dom once they were fully secured.

Jules looked at Dom, giving him a nod before looking at Brian, who was already watching her. She rolled her eyes before exiting the car. "I'm out, I'm out." She sneered, raising her hands to the man with a gun.

Some guy picked a fight with the wrong guy as Fênix pulled a gun on the guy who parked next to her. "Hey, boss man!" Dom called. "What did you say?" Fênix asked, lowering the gun. "I said only pussies run nitro meth." Dom outed, making Jules tense, knowing where this was going.

"You looked under my hood?" Fenix accused, stepping closer to Dom. "I'm talking to you." Fenix said louder. "He didn't have to." Jules sneered, glaring at the man who now looked at her.

"70 Plymouth. Her name was Letty. And somebody wrecked her car." Dom said, making Jules shiver as the mental image formed in her head. "I wrecked her car." Fênix whispered quietly to Dom. The rest of his words were drowned out by Jules' thoughts.

The murderer of her best friend stood before her brother, admitting the truth. Jules turned to look at Brian. Brian watched the once wide-eyed girl's eyes harder before she looked back at her brother.

"I'm gonna enjoy what happens next." And just like that, Doms' car blew up, forcing the rest of them to follow. This was the one time Jules was happy she didn't bring her Honda s2000.

The explosion had sent them flying. Jules landed awkwardly on her side, right by Brian. Brian was able to knock one guy out, taking the gun before firing it at people. "Come on, get up." Brian picked up a half conscious Jules, placing her in the passenger seat.

"Don't leave him." Jules groaned in pain. "I'm not going to," He grunted, stopping the car beside Dom. "Come on, get in!" Brian yelled. "Dominic!" Jules cried. Dom looked at the two before going back to punching the guy.

"Come on! Get in the fucking car! Let's go! Hurry up!" Brian continued to yell as the sirens got closer. Dom slowly got into the back. They drove over the edge, causing Jules to whimper in pain as Brian put his arm in front of her body so she wouldn't be in more pain than she already was.

The three racers had found themselves on the side of an empty road, under a bridge. Jules was still sitting in the passenger seat with the door wide open as she watched Brian make a call.

Jules sat up a bit, watching as Brian turned to face her. She had this weird feeling in her chest when she looked into his eyes. They held something. Conflict. Jules saw Brian's eyes trail to the floor, and so did hers.

Outside the door was a trail of blood. "Jesus." She slid out from the car, walking carefully to the trunk where Dom was with an open case. "So this is what 60 million dollars looks like?" Don said. "Yeah. We gotta get you to a doctor." Brian said, ignoring Doms' words.

"We gotta find a place to hide this," Dom responded. "I got a spot." Brian told him as Jules turned, going back to her seat. "Let's get a move on it!"
