JULES AND MIA STOOD IN THE
garage of Vince's place waiting for the return of their family. The two sisters had the radio on just in case they were taken into custody or spotted.

"As fugitivas americanos mataram três agentes da DEA durante o assalto ao trem."
(The American fugitives killed three DEA agents during train robbery.)

Jules sighed, changing the station as Mia leaned against the concrete pillar, keeping her head down.

"A polícia alerta que eles estão armados e extremamente perigosos. Qualquer pessoa com informações deve entrar em contato com a aplicação da lei imediatamente..."
(Police warn they are armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with information should contact law enforcement immediately...)

Jules drowned out the radio at the sound of a door opening. Jules picked up a metal bat, hiding behind the pillar Mia was still leaning on. Jules' head peaked out before the door opened again.

"Jules!" the voice of Brian called out. Jules breathed out as she looked at Mia in relief.

"Hey." She said softly, walking towards Brian, pulling him into a buck with the bar still in hand.

"You okay?" She asked, quietly.

"Yeah, you two all right?" Brian asked, resting his forehead against hers. Dom soon walked in as Mia walked up and gave their brother a hug.

Jules and Brian watched the interaction as Dom pulled away and walked towards Jules, grabbing the bar from her hands. "Just like a Toretto." He told her as she gave him a shrug and smile.

"Where's Vince?" Mia asked from behind Dom.

"That's a good question." Brian added, looking at Dom.

"What happened?" Jules asked, looking between her boyfriend and brother.

"He'll be here." Dom said ignoring, his sister's question.

"Guys, we're all over the news. They're blaming us for the killing of those DEA agents on the train." Mia informed the boys as the group got closer to the Ford GT40.

"Which means we just jumped to the top of the wanted list. The feds have got to show everyone their agents are off limits and they're going to send their best guys. We got to get outta here." Brian explained, looking at Jules.

Dom walked around the side of the car before stopping at the front to face the three racers. "One thing we know for sure is that they wanted this car." Dom said.

"There's something in it." Jules stated, crossing her arms over her chest.

"If we find out what it is, we'll know what we're up against." Dom concluded.

As the four fugitives got to deconstructing the car, Jules peered over at Brian watching as he worked. The dark-haired girl thought back to Mia's words. She knew that she'd have to tell him soon. Maybe now was the time.

"Brian." She said softly, grabbing his attention. "Hmm?" He responded, looking at her, making her smile. "I have something I have to tell you." She said at the same time a door opened and closed.

"God damn. What a mess!" Vince huffed, walking over to where Mia and Dom stood.

Brian's jaw clenched. "Where you been, man?" He asked, looking at Vince.

Jules leaned back, placing both her palms against the car as she watched Vince chuckle. It was still very clear to Jules that the two men did not like each other and that it'd be like that for a long time.

"You better check that tone," Vince said. "Vince." Jules uttered, watching as Brian rose to his feet.

"And you better answer the goddamn question." Brian took a step forward.

Jules put a hand on Brian's chest, pushing him back slightly. Although Jules also wanted to know why Vince showed up late, the last thing she wanted was the two grown men fighting.

"Stop it! Both of you." She ordered, pointing at the two. "Where were you, Vince?" Dom asked from beside Mia.

"Guys all over favelas askin' about you. Couldn't get out of there without leading them straight to you. Had to wait 'em out." Their old friend explained.

"That is such horseshit!" Brian exclaimed, swinging his hands before charging towards Vince. "That was your job, and those were your guys!" He yelled, as Dom held Vince back.

"Hey! Enough, O'Conner! If he said he didn't do it, he didn't do it. Go walk it off." Dom shouted at Brian with a finger pointing at the door.

Brian looked around at the group before walking out the door. "You just can't push your egos to the side for once, can you?" Jules sneered at the two men in the room before following Brian.
