THE NEXT MORNING, THE TWO Toretto sisters broke away from the group and walked the streets of Brazil and stopped at the local market. The two looked at the fresh fruit and paid the clerk before walking through the place.
Until a pair of strong arms grabbed Jules and Mia roughly, tugging them through the market. "Vince, what are you doing?" Mia asked harshly.
The siblings tried to break from the tight grip of their childhood friend, but he wouldn't budge. "Quiet! They've been tracking you." He said in a raspy tone.
A car from one end of the market skids to a stop and men storm out, running towards them. Jules and Mia grabbed Vince's hand and ran to the warehouse.
When they entered the warehouse, Jules walked ahead, past Roman, and immediately headed for Brian. When Brian looked over and saw Vince, anger washed over his face and charged forward.
"Brian, stop. It's fine." Jules placed a hand on his chest, pushing him back a little. "We were being watched and before they could act, Vince was there."
"He saved our lives," Mia added as Vince stopped right beside the girls. Brian didn't say a word and looked at Roman, the two sharing a silent look.
"You hungry?" Dom called from the desk with wires and maps, the place he was working on with Han.
"Yeah, sure." Vince responded.
"Good. Because you're saying grace," Dom declared, returning his attention to the work in front of him.
Jules nudged her boyfriend, tilting her head towards Vince. Brian sighed, looking at Vince before reaching a hand out. "Thanks, Vince." The two shook hands and finally reached a silent agreement.
As the crew worked on dinner and tried to make the meal edible, they talked about their futures and what they'd do with the money. Stuff that will hopefully benefit their futures.
Meanwhile, Jules and Brian talked in their so-called bedroom alone. Brian sat on the edge of the bed with Jules in between his legs as his arms wrapped lazily around her waist.
"What do you think it is?" He asked, breaking the comforting silence between them. Brian moved one of his hands and pressed it against Jules' stomach.
She wasn't showing yet, but time would fly by before they knew it and the baby would be there. "Mia's been doing every trick in the book and she's positive it's a boy, so I'm looking at those odds being right." She answered, smiling cheekily.
"I'll be happy with whatever, but if it were a boy..." Brian drawled, batting his eyes.
"Careful, blondie. They're not even born yet and you're thinking of their first car." Jules' hands moved and draped over his shoulders.
"I didn't even say anything!" He defended before sighing and looking at his girl with loving eyes. "They're gonna be so loved. A whole family behind them."
Jules felt a sense of comfort wash over her. She knew that if anything ever happened to their child, they'd have the whole group by their side in an instant.
"When this is all over, I'm gonna put a ring on this finger." Brian declared. "Make you my wife."
Jules smiled, pressing a chaste kiss to his lips. "Those are some wise words." She muttered against his lips.
Brian hummed in response, trying to have his lips find hers again. Jules accepted his kiss and as their lips moved against each other, Brian grabbed the back of Jules' thighs and pulled her into his lap.
The Toretto girl sighed heavily against his lips as Brian slipped his tongue past the seam of her lips. Her hands found Brian's hair, tugging on it.
Before things could get even heavier, Biran pulled away before giving her a final peck. "Better get going. Don't want questions being raised." He smirked.
Jules scoffed and climbed off his lap. "Tease."
As Jules walked towards the door, Brian laughed with an open-mouthed smirk. "Think of it as payback." He stood up, following her out of the room.
"That's not even close." She answered, remembering the kiss she gave Brian at the race meet up. A kiss that called him hers.
The couple walked down the metal stairs as they clanked with every step and walked to the laptop that had every camera on.
Brain took a seat on the stool and grabbed Jules, keeping her close between his legs. She leaned against his chest as Roman came over with three beers in hand.
"We're less than twenty-four hours from the biggest celebration of our life." He placed two beers in front of the happy couple. "Y'all need a refill. This is serious stuff."
Brian took the beer with ease, but Jules left it on the table. "I'm good, Rome."
"Cheers, doll." He raised his beer, waiting for them both to clink their bottles with his.
"Nah, she can't." Brian told Rome, taking a sip from his beer. Jules looked at Brian, shocked that he outed their secret.
"What do you mean?"
"She can't." Brian repeated, and this time, Jules' lips turned up as she turned her head to look at Brian.
"What do you mean, she can't? What is..."
Brian looked up at his friend and glanced down towards Jules' stomach. His hand moved in circles, waiting for the man to get the hint.
"Are you serious right now?" Rome shouted excitingly as he smiled brightly at the pair. "Is that the reason you let him beat you in the quarter-mile?" Rome laughed, pointing towards Dom.
"Excuse me, what race?" Jules asked as the rest of the group surrounded them.
"That was a baby gift," Roman said as Brian and Jules kissed.
Brian pulled away, looking at his friend. "No, that's messed up. No, you're not taking that from me." Brain pointed at him.
"Wait, wait, hold on a second." Tej stepped forward. "So, did he just smack the ass or did he grab and hold on to it? Which one was it?" He joked, making Brain flustered.
Jules wiggled her eyebrows, playing into the joke. "Wouldn't you like to know?" She teased as Gisele came over and congratulated her.
"Well, doll. If being a mom is meant for anyone, it's for you," Roman said, pulling the girl into his arms. "Just don't let O'Conner choose the name."
Jules laughed as she pulled away. "I'll try."
"Toast." Dom announced, raising his beer. "Money will come and go. We know that. But the most important thing in life will always be the people in this room. Right here. Right now. Salute mi familia."
